Day... God, I don't even know, of no power. They say it might be another five before we're back online. I miss the internet.

I've been reading The Stand, when there's light to read by. It seemed fitting.

Cherish every moment you spend with your waifu. You never really know what you have until it's taken away from you.

If I were in your shoes I probably would have hung myself already.

Public library. Using a folder of about 30 images I hadn't moved over to my HDD yet.

Don't worry, that experience only makes your resistances to no-Internet stronger. I spent almost a month in a place with only a couple of sources of public Internet once.

Just spend two hours in the morning and three in the evening browsing to satisfy your communication needs.

>> No.7813304

Also, my laptop gets a grand total of two hours of battery life on a full charge, and the only things I have on it are Mariaholic and the Macross Frontier movie.

waifus...but why in the world people keep spraying this net of sad lies all over the internet?
I really have enough of this silliness...just pathetic...

If you have a USB stick, go download an emulator of a handheld or an old console and some games and go crazy.
I'm having lots of fun with Pokemans in these kind of situations.

Even better, download a Touhou and play.

Improper use of ellipses. Why in the world do people keep spraying this net of improper grammar over the internet?

I really have had enough of this silliness.. It's just pathetic.

That's a brilliant line.
I hope you don't mind if I quote it sometime.

I was without internet for two years.

I made it through by having VNs, Monster Hunter Tri, Phantom Brave, Ace Attorney, manga read through my phone, and Touhou.

Nonetheless, it was horrible and suffering. Especially when my Wii broke with my 400 hour save files.

I've been back for over a year, anon.

Anyway I post with a trip so you may block out my shitty posts. Also, imagine how shitty my posts would be if I were anonymous and didn't care.

My trip is for the betterment of /jp/

How do you like The Stand so far? The movie doesn't give it justice in my opinion.

>> No.7813513

>>7813415

Oh, I've read The Stand before. Great book. The dead tree version fleshes out the whole post-apocolyptic society thing, which I always found interesting.

The movie was a made for television miniseries. It does its job well, but there's no way they could have fit in everything in the book and stayed within their budget.

Also, I have to go now. Free showers at the YMCA.

Stay frosty, /jp/.

>> No.7813520

The stand is a fun book.

Did you read the super long version with TrashCan man's autistic adventures or the normal version?

>> No.7813524

>>7813520

Superlong. Really, though. Have to go.
