Ep7 is probably the worst episode overall due to the complete lack of interesting scenes up until the very end of the game.

It's like if the entire thing was the Ange scenes from Ep4.

If you think that what EP6 keeps hinting everywhere to the point of almost shoving it in your face is an obvious troll, you are overestimating Ryuukishi.

Story of Yasu, Maria's talks about immaculate conception and Jessika's ghost story are less interesting than shooting BS at the end. You have bad taste in literature, peasant. Return to work!

That depends on reader. Some people actually think it never gets bad (crazy, I know). If you're at ep 7 and don't yet think it's
diarrhea from a meth head corpse's asshole, there's a chance you're one of them.

For me, this shit became impossible to enjoy the second Shkannontrice was confirmed. Pic related, it was my reaction.

>>7787844
>Maria's talks about immaculate conception

That part was Ryuukishi's clever way to insinuate the fact that the "immaculate conception" was just a "magical interpretation" intirely made up by Mary to hide the fact she was a slut.

Yes. It's the point when you realize that the whole "mystery" was a mystery only because R07 kept breaking his own rules.

>> No.7787954

>>7787925

As I remember Ryuu always repeated "It's not a mistery" Even chorus sang it in OP movie. Umineko isn't a mistery and has no detective fiction rules. If you didn't understand it, you are a fool.

Oh yes I remember this.
Admittedly it was kind of obvious, but this is another reason why people didn't want to believe it.
One of those "its so damn obvious it can't possibly be true" kind of things.

And then it was, and everyone trying to support theories that weren't so half-assed did a collective facepalm.

knox's rule the butler, maid or servant can not be the killer or have anything to do with it. I will say this again the ps3 chiru is coming out and there is a chance for a different ending like in the ps2 port of higurashi kai or a chance to add more arcs like the ds game did. one can only hope however... dammit.. i have only read up to arc 6 and half of arc 7.. I don't even want to read anymore..

>>7787954
You are an idiot. Ryuukishi clearly stated that (according to him) this story is perfectly solvable in his latest interview and decidedly encourages people to reason about it and solve it. That stuff you mentioned was just teasing, like the magician who says "I'm gonna cut this woman in half" before his performance. You are not supposed to believe he's talking seriously.

>> No.7788054

>>7788011
I think he means
http://witch-hunt.com/hist.html
"The genre of this work is probably a serial murder mystery."
"Those who enjoy stupid puzzles that are made to be solved can leave now."
"Umineko no Naku Koro ni is the worst kind of tale, created without any intention of letting all of
you solve it."
And various others weirds (in particular in episode 1 & 2) things like that.
To be honest I never thought of Umineko as a mystery and I was just "enjoying" the ride (not really) & wondering all the way "were is he leading me with this shit...?" Then we had Shkanonyasugaapbeatrice and told myself "I don't think he knew where he was heading with this either".

>> No.7788056

>>7788011

First four stories are misteries. And yes, there are solutions. But overall story is battlefield between mistery and magic. Ryuu even wrote an article about it after 4th chapter. All your histeria is a disappointment of little boy who understood what Santa is his father.

Ryuu is openly trolling "goat detectives" in EP8. Even after EP8 we know only few facts about what happened on Rokken. And IMHO it is really good! Umineko isn't detective novel, it's much deeper work about difficult themes, such as perception of reality, necessity of truth, power of will ect. I think we will estimate this work later when pain in the butt will disapear.

>> No.7788141

>>7788128
Face it man. If Ryuukishi really wanted to troll "detectives" and berate those who try to solve the many mysteries of his story he wouldn't tell people to buy Keia's book. You got it all wrong.

It's simple. I always hated this detective BS - who is Beato? Who is criminal? ect. And I was praying for Ryuu to avoid clear answers. And these dreams came true. That is why I am satisfied with Umineko.
