I wish I had a stick that worked with my PS3. It's like Tatsunoko for the Wii... you ignore the system the entire time, then all of a sudden it gets a single fighting game you want to play. But then you're stuck with a shitty pad unless you want to shell out for another stick.

Well, Aksys don't invest as much into these niche markets as Zen United does, as Aksys apparently finds it to be too much of a financial risk.

Zen United on the other hand tries to build a close relationship with the fans that does exist despite being a niche market. And with the niche market not being as big as other markets, they still try to hear out and listen to what people want from them, and then invest into it to make something out of the few by giving them alot.

Now, Zen United obviously have had their fair share of problems. Like how all of their titles have been delayed, with the exception of the GGXXAC Plus: Collectors Edition.
But despite of this, they have had some pretty amazing special packs/bundles for each title so far, so they are alright in my book.
Honestly, I hope it goes well for them, so that companies such as Arksys and the like might invest more effort/time into niche markets.

In my case, it was a dust-padded paper envelope inside a plastic DHL bag. The mouspad was placed face down, so there were no humps sticking out or anything. It's probably the same for everyone.
Oh, you might want to open it at a place that's easy to clean, in case the inner layer of the envelope got damaged, freeing some of the padding.

Yeah, I received mine yesterday. They didn't send me any mail after the delay notification, but I did receive a mail from DHL last week with the tracking information of the package. How resistant to sunlight would you assume the mouse-pad to be?
I assume it should be stored somewhere not direcgtly struck by sunlight most of the time, to not have the colours fade.
Remember how I had an artbook once in a shelf next to the window. By the end of the year I noticed how roughtly half the front of it only had about half as much colour left.

I will assume that it is next to worthless as far as an actual mouse-pad, but that's a moot point considering one won't want to tear it.

I wouldn't expose anything printed or plastic to direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time. And this is both.
That said, it's pretty well-made. It's certainly better than the typical cheap-o synthetic cloth glued to foam rubber pad. I don't know how well the "wrist support" contributes or detracts from its usage as a mousepad, though, as I use a trackball.

The US got it. Others would have had to those freaking cards at extra shipping costs (and excessive PSN value) to purchase the game on a seperate account. (A method which also messes up DLC unless bought in the same manner. )
Granted people very well could have (and did) do that, not everyone did.

Besides though, the European version is quite delicious.
Wheras the US one isn't even a physical copy. And depending on the shipping fees for various regions, the prices between these versions don't even differ that much.

But in the end, no matter the case, the European one is still delicious at that, despite being late (and having been delayed.)
Some people even got both.

The breasts of the mousemat weren't quite as I had imagined.
To begin with, the mounds are quite small, as in, not that big at all. They are in fact, cute.

These relatively small mounds coupled with her somewhat mysterious android like smile, she does look pretty cute, suprisingly so if I were to say so myself.
I weren't after the mousemat all that much, even though I have been under the impression that Mei-Fang have been a fun character. Fun, albeit perhaps not all that interesting, nor attractive.
But this, this mousemat makes her look cute and adorable. And the colours are also quite vibrant so it doesn't look cheap.

I am in fact, very glad I bought this thing this time around.
Not to be speaking of the nice illustrations of the art book as well as the featured cards.
Oh, and that keyring was fine too I guess.

I pretty much share your sentiment. As mentioned in the post I didn't care much about neither her character overall or her looks.
My impression of her have changed though, she is fun, cute, and now I don't quite know why I neglected the way she looked beforehand. Possibly, because I didn't care much about her character/personality.
But it simply turned out that I didn't really know her.

Clarice's pokes are deadly, and you are never truly safe from her.
So she can interupt and punish other people badly, and she isn't that halfassed otherwise either way.
But yeah, if you aren't careful, you too can be punished heavily for badly timed pokes or moves that are simply out of place.

I guess I just try and play her too aggressively like I do with most characters that aren't meant for it, I really love all of the tools she has but she just feels shitty playing her like how I want her to play, even with Wind or Lightning. Only times I met any success with her was laming out matches most of the time and punishing stupid crap instead of just getting in their face and beating them up.
Suppose I should just go back to Akane and Heart and stop trying to play Clarice like she's some kind of rushdown/spacing character. Kind of a lame move though.

Played around with Time Weiss for a little bit and managed to get to level 4 or 5 a 109 PSR before getting bored of playing the same people over and over. ;_;
Also managed to get Dorothy to lvl 10 & almost all of the other cast to at least 2 or 3 for trophies dohohohohoho. Time Weiss will still be my main love in this game.

No, it's Extend Force Combo, where you cancel in the middle of a combo by activating EF and continuing on. If you play MvC3 it's like an X-factor cancel, if you play Blazblue it's like a rapid cancel combo.

The EFC state not only speed up your attacks by around 25% but some moves can cancel into new moves. I recommend practicing in the EF state for a bit to find them. Try Zenia for example.

I bought the Standard Edition of Arcana Heart 3 online from the UK because I discovered there were so many disc released games that I had never purchased. So after paying I'm told my whole order will ship on the 20th and to expect it after the 31st since it's international shipping.

Not a problem

So the 23rd hits and I've gotten one of my games, they shipped them all individually and I'm thinking, I'm going to get Arcana Heart 3 when the hurricane hits, I just know it.

Then the 25th hits and I get another game.
Then the 26th hits and I get another game.

Then the 27 hits, the day the hurricane is supposed to arrive and so does Arcana Heart, in a slightly wet, partially opened package, With the Disc Loose. Yay!

So I plop it in my PS3 and do the install while that's going I read the Instruction manual. Which is about 6 pages and only covers basic PS3 product safety. YAY!

So the install's finished and the wind's getting louder. I start playing, noticed there's no training/basic mode so I pull up the AH wiki and have it right next to me on my laptop and suddenly the wind knocks out my internet.

Ok, no wiki for me but I can still futz around in it

So I'm futzing around with various characters trying to find one I can play with and when I switch to Heart my power goes out.

Right now I'm sitting in a public library with my beloved laptop and my only thought is, "Maybe I wouldn't have offended the storm gods if I had bought the Limited Edition."
