Actually, 2 of the 3 routes (Haruka and Makoto) in the PSP version have been translated. Look up idolmaster in the archive and you can probably find a link to the ISO.

There's plenty of stuff that still isn't translated, though. Interface stuff, morning greetings and other conversation stuff where you have to give replies, mails and crap... I'm just going to wait warmly for the complete patch, myself.

At least in Haruka's route, everything except the e-mails and the names of some of the promotions are translated, and you'll figure out what those mean in no time at all. You should honestly just give it a try now, because you're going to be waiting a very long time if you don't.
