What are some of your more unusual Touhou pairings? I really like the idea of Yuugi/Nitori, since Nitori is so shy and Yuugi is so...well, rude.

I am apalled at how terribly misunderstood crows are.

Crows are smart birds, being able to live in communities and use tools. They can even recognize particular humans by face alone, and will communicate with fellow crows if the human in question is good or bad.

And for goodness sake, Crows do not have a good olfatory system.

Pretty much all corvids are. Ravens especially - somewhat ironic considering how Okuu isn't usually thought to be the sharpest knife in the drawer.
Then again, there's some confusion whether Okuu actually is a raven, or whether she is an East Asian jungle crow. Don't know as much Japanese as I'd like, but it seems "karasu" refers to corvids in general rather than crows in particular - rather like how Finns love their "haukka".

Personally prefer the idea that Okuu is highly intelligent, just that she doesn't have her head screwed on tight enough.

Marisa and Koishi. Despite the fact that the extra stage sets it up well it's not really that popular.

It's usually just SatorixKoishi which never made much sense to me due to Koishi closing her eye.

Au contraire amigo, one would think that she would in fact approve of it. Okuu is quite care free so now longer having to follow what the kappa and Kanako ask of her would lead her to being more free. That being said its not like she can just abandon the reactors, just less work/nagging I suppose.
