Why is this game so heavy on CPU usage ? It takes 50% of it (or more) constantly, except when I'm in the backlog. And I don't have a shitty processor (E8500@3.16 GHz). I remember one or two other titles from MG were also doing that, and I never understood why.
It makes no sense. MG KnS is using KiriKiri engine, but I've played many other games using it and they never took more than 10% of my processor. Same goes for games with heavier graphics/effects like Chaos;head, Majikoi or MLA.
It doesn't really bother me, just makes my fans a bit louder. But it's just weird.

If you're CPU is starting to get high enough temp to merit increasing fan speed from 50% use, I would recommend you put some new thermal paste on it. Thermal paste is like $5 anyways, and it's well worth it for noise/keeping your room cool/increasing PC lifespan.

I generally like Kara. My only complaint is how the story suddenly seems to 'chill out' after the resolution of the first case, it was like they were concerned about the school life element of the game or trying to back off from the serious tone of the first case and went a bit too far. I also really enjoyed the serious and frantic tone of the first case, so that may just be backlash.
But, overall a good work. Interesting characters and story, (somewhat unrealistic at the end but w/e), and not angsty at all.

Found a bug. After getting two bad ends and working through it again, using 'skip previously read' it skipped an entire scene I had not read. I could tell because it was an ero scene I certainly hadn't seen before.

This happened on the second bad end according to the TL Wiki walkthrough, after specifying choices for handwriting analysis.

Some follow-up:

So, did a second playthrough, mostly following the walkthrough (with deviations on seemingly trivial choices, such as going to Toko when she's painting or not getting so heavily involved with Hatsune), but it seems I didn't get the true end. Lacking the 'go take a look' part it's talking about, unless it means the part about him reminiscing at the bench, which I ran into on the first playthrough.

Anyone actually make it there? Is that the true ending? It feels like Toko should be brought back instead of what I got...
