Time to elect the best male and female characters in VNs.
The best female character is a no-brainer, Haru wins this easily.
For the best male character, I really liked Tsukasa from Swan Song.

Have to second Haru. Yuki's got similar motivations to Haru, but badly fucks up the whole revenge thing. Plus Haru kicks so much ass in chapter 5. Yuki's a close second otherwise.

Best male character? Hard to go past ef -the latter tale-'s Himura. (not Himura in -the first tale-, he doesn't do anything!) eh doesn't afraid of anything.
