That's horrid. You don't have to get higher education in those sorts of things. If you're truly interested in them you can do some independent studying. Get a degree in engineering or something and actually contribute to the world.

Back at my high school, everyone either wanted to get a degree in Psychology, Nursing, Teaching or English. I don't think I met one person who wanted to study Computer Science, and only some kids at the top of the class wanted to be engineers.

Even if it is an option, it usually means that the game is balanced around it. It's like saying you don't have to use ironsights in games that have them - it radically changes the dynamics of the game whether you want it to or not.

Timesplitters MP has always been about a high turnover of deaths to me though. Fast and frantic gameplay, running around with dual flareguns or whatnot.
I can't see why they would bring in health regen.
