I ragequit after accidentally selling one of my anniversary cards (the ones that give a free small buff) with 2 or 3 zeroes missing from the price, it was supposed to fund something else I needed and I was fucked after that.

Also was pissed about how they kept releasing new cash shop shit that was better than what I had. Back when I started I bought the Kooh and Arin sets, which at the time were by far the best equipment available (lvl 120, next highest then were lvl 70); even though I was still a newb they were limited time so I grabbed them. But then more and more cash shop sets came out that were better anyway, and to top it off, Ntreev re-released the Kooh and Arin sets the very next summer so they weren't even anything special anymore. Also, I stopped playing on the server where I had the Kooh set, had too damn many characters between the two servers and not enough time. In the end I quit before I even had any characters high enough level to use them.

I actually didn't waste that much real money though beyond my initial purchases, later on I just relied on the surprisingly generous event handouts of points.

Oh wow, I just want to say, I love you /jp/. I had played back in 07 and now I picked it back up this summer since I had already leveled up a character to level 57. Let me just be the one to say that if you played this game awhile ago, it'll definitely feel different this time around because the quest give give more experience points, so you basically run around picking up items all day. Personally I party request everyone, and add them to f list for later. Gives me people to hang with a lot. Also, I play it while listening to animenfo radio. Not just anime music there, they even play touhou sometimes.

One of my regrets is quitting before my DP cat at least got Siren Song. With good enough gear you can still do plenty of damage with Volley Kick and even normal hits, and it's fucking awesome to take 0 or minimal damage from enemies in a game where leveling is normally all about 1H/2HKO'ing enemies before they 1HKO you.

I really don't think I can go back to the game now though, I'm already playing WoT and two VNs, one of which is gameplay-heavy and sucking all my time. Especially because I could never focus on just 1 character in TO, I'd always end up playing 4 characters in parallel, gathering quest items for all of them at once (which of course means 4 times as long killing one type of enemy for drops, 4 times as long drilling on my fox). It was useful in a way, I'd use a different character for different quest mobs depending what they were weak to instead of forcing things with a unsuitable character, but damn it got tedious.

Also, this game's pvp is highly unbalanced. Racoons are capable of beating any class. Played this game for 4-5 years, so here's my take on the pvp tier list.

Broken Tier- Pure Racoon

I have some good memories from this game, playing way back at the start of the beta, every new area we discovered was pretty much unexplored.
