Well to be fair it's a side-scrolling beat-em-up with the biggest draw coming from the fact it had Vanillaware's usually high quality 2D art, with any luck it'll include a stat growth aspect so people can get a feel of progression, like in the Marvel Ultimate Alliance games. Otherwise it may wind up like Turtles in Time: Reshelled with people playing it once than promptly forgetting about it.

I also like Mogudan's art but seeing it in motion isn't all it's cracked up to be. I mean if you pay attention to the trailer you see, when the sorceress and amazon are walking to the right, that the amazon's waste is less than 1/3 the size of her rump and thighs. That's just kind of insane

Was thinking to get this without doubt, on the PS3 considering I can't afford a PSV as it looks now.
Then I came to my senses and realized the game isn't going to come until next year, as sad as it is, and by that time, I could possibly manage to get a PSV.

But then, another question arises.
Should I get it for the PS3 or the PSV?
Portable, or the center of my living room, and with the wireless controllers and HD screen.
Then again, I suppose you could play the PSV version on the TV as well, though my library of games resides in/at the PS3.
Oh, and the controllers are still a thing. The PSV is portable though.
most multiplayer is most likely going to be done online.
Speaking of which though, it have to be done online on the PSV, and the others have to have the game. That is of course an advantage of the PS3 version over the PSV one. Then again, that would only be relevant once in a blue moon were there to be visitors, visitors interested in playing it at that.

So, portable vs easier multiplayer?
Guess it isn't exactly often I play with others in the same room like that.

Sort of. Most of the game is the exact same, you just play the bosses and stages in different orders with one or two new bosses each character. You have quicker and better access to more powerful formulas and recipes and things like that, but otherwise, 80% of the stages themselves are identical across all characters.

Muramasa just had a very basic translation. They translated it in a way where the text didn't cover all of the dialogue, so you only got a very basic idea of what the character's were saying and the overall plot. Of course, this isn't as noticeable unless you know moon and have the original script to compare it with. Otherwise, the translation seems fine.

ARF's main translating problems came from name changes and a terrible dub.
