Is there anyway to spoof my unity size with pd?

I try very hard to get 2GB, but I live in a poor area and my internet cannot go fast enough.

I don't mind contributing to the network, but I would like to be able to download things too.

There are 4 Pd atoms inside the unit cell of Pd [1]: 8× 1/8 on corners and 6× 1/2 on faces.
Mass inside cell = 4× AtWt Pd/A where A = Avogadro constant = 6.022 x 10^23 mol^-1
(They have given you this but it is instructive to see where it comes from.)
Mass = 4× 106.42/(6.022 × 10^23) = 7.069× 10-22 g
Let side of (cubic) cell = a; Volume of cell is therefore a^3
D = M/V hence a^3 = 7.069× 10-22 /12.02 = 5.899 × 10-23 cm^3
This is the size of the unit cell part A.
a = 3√5.899 × 10-23 = 3.893× 10^-8 cm (note density is in cm^-3 so a is in cm).
The face diagonal of the cell [1] = 4rPd where rPd is the radius of the Pd atom = √2×a (Pythagoras)
rPd = (√2× 3.893× 10^-8)/4 = 1.38× 10-8 cm = 1.38 Å (1 Å = 1×10-8 cm) Ans Part B
Lit[2]: 140 pm; 1.40 Å

I think you could probably upload shit.

I try but my unity cache keeps decreasing in size faster that it increases.

>> No.7438641

As you download shit it gets added to your unity cache.

I'd just leave it on for a week, and unless you're running on dial-up, you should have 2GB.

It has been running for 3 weeks and I only have a 100MB cache.

My maximum speeds are 20KB/s up and down.

Is this too slow?

>>7438668
Well, yes. That's insanely slow.

>> No.7438675

to get reasonable download speed, you need atleast 100kb/s upload.

>> No.7438681

NOPE

you want better internet? then pay for it.

As I said, I live in a poor area with not very fast internet.

Thank you

IIRC winny requires 50kb/s.
Perfect Dark probably requires more.

Also, 20kb/s is insanely slow, but even for just a week you should have 1.4GBs

>> No.7438706

100kb/s upload are the minimum for pd and 40gb of hd or something like that

There's satellite internet, which should reach all over the globe with large bandwidth.

The only downside is high ping times (not good for games)

Now that my question has been answered I have a new one.

Does anyone have a download link for ISOs of the last 2 DVD's of Ookami-san?

I realise this belongs in /a/ but this thread is already here so I hope you don't mind.

even shittastic netbooks have 160 or so HDD space. HD space is no issue for computers from the last 8 or 10 years.

>> No.7438764

>>7438715
I have no idea what the last two are but I have an opened search of Ookami-san which is yielding 43 ISO results.

>>7438764
Sorry, I should have said a download link other than pd since my internet is not fast enough to use it.

By the way. Do not forget ot run Perfect Dark inside a virtual machine only. Might also want to use a VPN (if in Japan for example).
