Dude, story and character for Rance games go hand in hand. The character development IS the story. Again, 5D had a messed up system, people still bought into 6. 6 had a grinding system, people still bought into Sengoku. And now there are people out there that most likely fell in love with the characters in 7 so they will buy 8.

The eroge world isn't just about gameplay and with the current otaku market being driven by characters more than loldeep stories, it's not a bad market Rance 8 is going to be sold in.

Yeah, but that's the point. With every fight you have you get a point, you get EXP at the same time. If you time it with the blobs, you basically get the prizes every time. That huge central forest is actually the best place to get stuff from.

Why not to use cheats to make infinite orbs with SpoilerAL or something similar if it's so bothersome for you to harvest them? Personally grinding in Rance VI didn't bothered me but I disabled timer in Rance 5D which made me enjoy the good side of the game without needing to worry about roulette bullshit.

I actually got the game from the alicesoft homepage. No one proxies?

That said you don't even need a gfx card for this game if you have a good enough cpu for the job. I don't even use a Core Duo, just a pentium dual core and it runs very well. Hoping that the game requirements stays the same for the next couple of games. I hate upgrading cpus.

Can't believe even in a test game, Rance fucks someone.
