Why are Touhou roleplayers so terrible?

Specifically those on Twitter. I don't mind roleplayers. I'd follow a Touhou roleplayer for the novelty of having someone tweet from Gensokyo if they actually knew what they were talking about.

All I get are *action* kiddies and HEHE SO KAWAII XD but I guess that's what I get for expecting something good to come out of Twitter.

I figure roleplaying is just first-person fan fiction, so it's just going to be as good or as shitty as other fan fiction. While it's not guaranteed to be bad, the majority of it out there is, but still I wouldn't mind reading one that was extremely well done.
