Listening to Dolls in Pseudo Paradise while reading it and it got me thinking; has anybody ever tried to deconstruct the motiffs and themes in ZUN's writing and works? There are a number of phrases and themes that pop up. Namely:

Deaths of honest men (Dolls in Pseudo paradise, Mokou's backstory)

Contrasting dichotomy (Border between life and death, Border between dream and reality, Border between eternal and finite.)

Purity (Everything that has to do with the Lunarians).

So anybody put some thought into why he keeps bringing these things up and the message he's trying to send?
