Do you NEET/hikki/Shut-ins think you could do what you're doing now if it weren't for the internet?

Or do you feel you'd be forced into the world if you didn't have the internet to rely on?

Assuming you'd be fine being without it, what would you do all day? How would you acquire entertainment/food/information?

Do you think you would've developed into a more social, happy person without the internet?

Do you think you would've developed into a more social, but less happy person without the internet?

Let us speculate.

There's always video games and television.

I would be an actual hermit instead of a city hermit.

The internet wasn't even around until it was already too late for me to become something different.

I'd to socialise more, because the internet is my main source of information. I wouldn't know which games to buy or whatever. That, or go to the library.

This.

I would have just vegged out in front of the TV or played video games for most of my free time. Not sure about the social aspect. I'm good around people, but I don't enjoy socializing as much as others. Maybe I just haven't found the right group of people to hang with.
