There are plenty of things I want too that I have no way of buying either. I mean for example I really want all of EastNewSound's stuff or some other random comiket stuff for that matter but it's not like I can just go to Amazon, find it, and have it shipped. I can't fully read Japanese and can't just go to the wherever I would buy it from and buy it. I'm a person with a big collection of original CD's and buy all my favorites when I can so even if I can pirate the stuff it still isn't a original copy but there isn't any other way I can have it.

What's more frustrating about this is that there IS someone (at least one person) who DOES have the doujinshis, but won't scan them.

Granted most of it is just text...but he won't even scan the 12 or so pictures that were done by the actual author.

You need to use a proxy to bid on it. Basically you tell them you want them to bid on something, give them the URL of the auction, and how high you want to go. They bid, you pay them, they send you stuff. There are fees involved so expect another $10 and however much shipping costs (SAL is probably going to be another $9 for one thing). It'll come out to a little more than $30 assuming your bid goes unopposed by someone else but that's the price you pay for wanting something that isn't widely available anymore.

From taking a quick look at Tora no Ana and a few other webstores, Blood Music and Lost in the Vampire Bund were never sold in store so they are a little hard to find. They were apparently only sold at the last two comic markets respectively. They Thirst, Save the Last Dance for Me, and Fever Dream were but are now sold out.

As outlined above there is that copy of They Thirst waiting to be bought by someone (not me; just pointing people in the right direction as someone who has had to buy other things that were never scanned).
