Aunt bought me a NES when I was 4 years old. Cousin started to bring me strange Japanese cartoons subtitled on VHS when I was 7.

Then Sailor Moon aired on US syndicated television while I was going through puberty. That was the final nail in the coffin. My 2D fetish was secured.
