I watch anime all the time and I'm learning Japanese.

I don't collect Manga or figurines. Nor do I obsess over anime characters, I can barely remember the names of the anime i watch.

is there a term for someone who in respectfully interested in Japanese culture but obviously not an otaku?

I hate weeaboos. I don't conisder myself a weeaboo, I'm actually Japanese for real, well almost. I will be when I live in Japan though.
