It's been ages since i've used it, but if I remember right I had to disable the "close program" sound because it got annoying as hell when background programs stop and start repeatively.

Thought I'd chime in on this quick boost discussion, I think its absolutely necessary, along with quick jump. The less time you spend on the ground the better, as to be alive you want to be in the air as much as possible. Depending on your play style (I play somewhat aggressively) finding some quick cover or a safe spot to recharge behind enemy lines will be necessary. In most battles you'll never go the whole game conveniently making bombing runs and fly back safely, and if you do, you're probably not doing much damage anyways. If you can live without that extra recharge rate then by all means get something else, but I just find it annoying having to wait longer to wait for the boost to fill up while on the ground.

Also beam guard? Bazookas and missiles are what are killing you, that cart is pretty useless.
