If you mean by loneliness the lack of a relationship then deal with it by realizing how awesome lonelines ist.

Actually, to be perfectly honest, it's possible to get discussion with a nonzero amount of redeeming value going if you start it in /a/. They also have their fair share of people who are entirely bereft of social contact. If you're wiling to filter out the shit it might work.

>> No.6887030

What loneliness? Stop being what many would call emo.

>> No.6887031

I'm actually struggling with it lately to be honest. I find myself repulsive so I would be to scared to open up to someone or have them touch me, even if I could find someone who didn't disgust me as much as myself. Oh well.

Reported.

Alpha as fuck.

>> No.6887097

I recently became NEET once again after four months of classes and I can honestly say that I have never felt more degraded, desressed, and socially awkward than those four months. Towards the end of the classes I believe I even began to develop some mental problems which are only now beginning to go away. Now that I'm back into the NEET groove of life, I feel like a million dollars. I once again have time to cook for myself, write for myself, go out for drives by myself, and basically just enjoy anything that interests me - by myself, and I'm fine with living my life alone. If anything, having no friends only enhances this feeling. I feel like I am now truly free to do whatever I want in this world. I have no friends to hold me down, no classes to hold me down, no parents or bosses to yell at me. In my life it's just me. Even with the small amount of money and food I have, I feel very content and genuinely happy with my life.

I don't know what you guys are doing wrong to feeling crushingly depressed.

because in real life they are alpha-ing on you, in tv shows you can just laugh about it without feeling threathened.

I guess some people don't like being alone.

>> No.6887124

I like being alone, so I don't deal with it. I have no reason to talk to anyone, and it doesn't bother me at all.

And I'm not socially inept, I can speak to people just fine.

In America being sensitive means you are homo, being sad means you are Emo, not watching TV means you are dull and not watching football means you are a nerd.

Such is the believe of the average american.

I am black and people naturally avoid conversing with me. When they do they soon learn I'm one of the nicest people they'll meet that day. I like making people feel good, you know? It's nice to help someone who's struggling. That's how I'd like to be treated after all.

>> No.6887184

I try not to think about it ;_;

>> No.6887187

>>6887148
I am exactly the same, although I'm not black. I'm a bit overweight, have long hair and a beard and honestly I don't look so good and probably look threatening. Old people always talk to me, people my age try to avoid me, but when they do talk to me they seem to really like me. I haven't confirmed in myself if I am overly nice to try and stop them rejecting me, but I genuinely love making people happy. When I do deal with people.

I hate it when I am on the bus and it is so full and no-one will sit next to me, heh.

I suppose I "hide" behind those things to some extent and would probably be very worried without them. I should lose weight though, for the sake of my health at least.

>> No.6887224

Seconding a quick cleanup of hair and beard. Despite "It's what inside that matters," having a trim outward appearance can help project what your attitude is. Keeping your bear and hair at a manageable length - 1" max beard, 3" max hair - gives a clean-cut appearance which also doesn't have the problems of longer hair, like needing to clean food out of the beard.

And if you're set on losing weight, remember that it's exercise and healthy eating - not dieting - that will keep you in shape. Get a street or hybrid bicycle and bike around town instead of driving (obviously, drive if it's too far or you need to transport lots of stuff). Eat fruits, vegetables, nuts, and low-fat meats. It'll give you muscle, remove the fat, and get more serotonin in your body.

This guy has the right idea. Even if you only exercise a little at the beginning at already brings a better mood with it.

Thanks for the advice. I will certainly start exercising and eating healthily. Grooming may come if I build confidence at some point. I haven't had a haircut for something like 11 years, which even I think is absurd.

I also have to work on my naïve idealism.

>> No.6887271

>>6887265
The confidence will come with the exercising and serotonin. And if you haven't had a haircut in more than a year, that would be a problem.
