That show was unexpectedly dark. If your nightmare takes over you, you are lost forever and the nightmare inhabits your body. If you win over the nightmare, the nightmare is destroyed and is lost forever.

I wonder why more people don't compromise with their nightmares. The human allows the nightmare access to his body, the nightmare protects the human from other nightmares in return, no one risks complete, irreversible annihilation.
