It doesn't upset me, just kind of annoying. You'd usually hear wives talk about their husbands all the time, which is understandable, since they're married. Besidse every time a girl talks about her boyfriend with me it ends up with my giving her advice on how to save their relationship.

For example:

I think she teaches Japanese to Korean students, so she probably doesn't stay home all day and play games. But that makes her the ideal language partner I guess.

I'm pretty sure I'm the only person on /jp/ who has a girlfriend or would even care to have one. She's japanese too, and we do otaku shit together. Is that really such a bad thing?
