Africans are supposedly the original humans, obviously they'd look closest to apes. You can take that as either a good thing (originals) or bad thing (undeveloped, unevolved) but honestly it doesn't really matter. The Africans who migrated out of Africa adapted to suit their surroundings and developed different features. We're all human though.
To OP, asians aren't superior. You'll notice as you encounter people of different races who are outside their racial norm that it's mostly culture that defines a person. Asian culture is about striving to be intelligent and succeed, American culture is about relaxing and having fun (unless you're born into the upper class). So in conclusion no, there's no real basis for that and you should probably take it to /x/ with the whole aliens thing.
