I think Reimu should die or something and new main character should be Marisa or someone else.

Practically all youkai behave better than her. Reimu is lazy, stupid, irritating, racist, rude, she provokes and attacks others for no reason. All she cares about is her tea and its "ok" because she is taking care of shrine and she is ZUNs "perfect japanese waifu" so he is making up stories so people wont want to draw her dying or something bad happening to her.

Without her gensokyo would be a lot better place.

Reimu's too cute to die. As far as MCs go, I like her for not being a complete cardboard cutout moralfag, and yet not being an obvious antihero either (like Marisa).

Marisa is the main character. Notice how (almost) every game has her as the program icon. Marisa has been in just as many games as Reimu too.

Sakuya's pretty boring in the games though. The only times I liked her was in EoSD and that one part in IN where she wonders how hard it would be to mop the endless space hallway.
