That feel when Comiket turns /jp/ into a completely unusable shithole

Unusable for shitposters maybe.

Comiket is the only time /jp/ has any use.

I've just become aware that I only hang around here to wait for each comiket and discussion on its games.

>> No.6762262

It's literally no different than usual

>> No.6762263

>>6762256
You do realize that you don't have hang around here when there are no threads about what you mentioned right? /jp/ should be great for you then since you will only come for those things.

>> No.6762267

>>6762262
You don't notice the manga thread, the anime thread full of faggots saying anime is /jp/ related, the recommendation threads, the /a/ trolling threads?

>> No.6762278

>>6762267

They are all made by our local autists, stop thinking there is a big conspiracy on /a/ and /v/ to shit up /jp/.

You're actually quite wrong, sir.
It was brilliant just before Comiket ended. We had no spam and the first few pages were nothing but classic /jp/ material. It was really a total turn around from the stupid Kinectimals tomfoolery just days prior. After Comiket was officially over however, /jp/ went downhill again astonishingly fast.

>> No.6762872

>>6762855
The fact that you're complaining about /jp/ being shitty while bumping a thread like this is hilarious to me.

>> No.6762897

>>6762872

Well, I just had to make a point.

>> No.6762903

>>6762855
Jesus christ, how delusional can you be?

/jp/ stayed THE SAME except for the fact that there was Comiket threads. The spam remained the same, the unrelated crap remained the same, the retarded related threads remained the same, etc.

You were just too busy with the C79 to notice it and that gave you the impression that the board was not filled with those things. I say this because only a few things got my interest on C79 and I was able to get them right away, after that I stopped paying attention to the C79 stuff and surprise! /jp/ was exactly the same.

>> No.6762932

>>6762903

Nope... For one evening it was great, and trust me it wasn't just because I was in Comiket threads. When I noticed that things looked pretty good, I intentionally scrolled through the first three pages counting the number of founding-values /jp/ threads and it was damn near all of them... If I remember right there was even a diaper thread for the first time in literally years.

>> No.6762951

>>6762932
There is a diaper thread every month at the very least. They just don't get replies.

>> No.6763003

>>6762951

Must be during the day or in the middle of the night, and they die fast while other threads that don't get age'd on higher pages actually tend to stick around....
I'm on /jp/ damn near every night Pacific time for at least four or five hours, and I haven't seen any worth note. No matter though.

>> No.6765223

What I noticed during C79 time was the frightening increase in smiley users and general women-esque posting style, accompanied with such wisdom as "I only visit /jp/ during Comiket". Obviously, these people do not agree with our regular topics and attitude and just wish the whole board was XD FUN like for example /c/ (oh god, it's so horrible).

>> No.6765233

>>6762932
yeah this is what I saw too. It dropped off sharply but still seems a little better than usual even now, at least when we're not being spammed or have meta/rage threads dominating page 0.

>> No.6765308

No, OP, you are the cancer.
