The movie was not good because of grimdark and suicide, it's because Nasu created interesting characters and concepts to carry out the certain story.

Saying 'Wasted with Type Moon crap' makes little sense.

It's not excellent, but it has proper pacing, and the so called 'lectures' are good segments, otherwise the movie would be about Ghosts and Parkour.


The execution and settings make the movie and story good, not the basic theme.
