Hey /jp/ why are you so rude in threads about gensokyo?
Some people who want to go to gensoky want just to be happy... Look at this picture - its cute, even eating pancakes is making you happy in gensokyo. Everything is nice and friendly, even apron of Tewi has more details put with hearth from person who made it. They dont eat "as quickly as possible", but are merry when they can eat meal with each other. And its not "forced" like in this world during holidays when family meets and eats dinner, but in fact they dont care about each other, but just about presents or something else, even if you were "normal" (not hikki) you would notice how fake it is in real world, where everything is gray and boring. People dont care about feelings or something important... Even "best friends" will leave each other in more serious cases or incidents and they most likely wont help you. In gensokyo their feelings are honest, doesnt matter if its friendship or hatred for live long enemy - they are real ones and are ready to risk even their lifes. Its very nice and joyful place.

In outside world its rare for people to be honestly friendly even in such small things, like helping older person to lift shopping bags in your stair case or so simple like things opening doors for other person and smiling is so rare... Thats why gensokyo is taking it easy!

I want to be happy, I want to go to a fantasy world like Gensokyo. But I cant, because it doesnt exist. The closest I can get to it is Lucid dreaming and drugs, both of which I do often.

I dont like these threads because they make me feel terrible, knowing I will never experience this. However, I have never been rude in threads.

Even so simple tasks like going to shop means you will meet your friend Rinnosuke in his shop or maybe other nice shop that we dont know from outside world and it can be happy and friendly place - because he does it to share his pasion to outside world. He puts a lot of emotions even so simple things as putting beautiful and detailed decoration for his shop. In real life they do it just to get more money even in those local quater shops that get always the same 4 customers living in houses next door.

Even NEETs can live in gensokyo and have their happy place to be. Like Kaguya - she knows she can count on Eirin to help her, even if Eirin is risking her life and it would be easier just to send Kaguya on Moon or in not so bad scenario just leave her on earth alone without any support. Its not one of those feelings like some parents did - mother with fake "tears" coming and telling you that she is sorry but you have to leave house because you are Hikki, if you belive in her feelings you end even more hurt because you feel you should do something good to cheer her up and feel guilty, but her feelings are shallow - she will move on after few hours, or there are a lot of moments when parents leave even small children without any guild or sin who are born with sickness that cant be cured or is going to disturb with their careless life.

I want to be part of Gensokyo, I really do, but just for a bit, I'd like to try to grasp some small happiness in this small and lonely world. I won't deny I'm alone, and that perhaps this world is the sort where such isolation cannot be shattered by any force--nonetheless, even if it's painful and I might struggle to merely feel alive, I want to realize my dreams in a way that I can reconcile. It might be true that I may only find solace in my dreams, and that when I wake up the ugly world awaits me. I cannot run from that ugliness inside me, for even in Gensokyo I know it will find me, so for now I must try to find some shred of salvation through my art.

Gensokyo, wait for me, I won't be long.

When you die and go to Gensokyo is it the complete Gensokyo after the series ends, or do you experience it in real time from that point forward? Because that means you could fuck with the incidents and change future games for everyone who's not dead yet and that would be weird. Also, can ZUN kill you if he wants to?

Of course you would experience the world from that point on. How would anything else make sense? You could screw with the happenings, but from the point of view of Reimu you'd just be some schmuck waving his arms around and yelling, a pinprick all the way down on the ground. Unless you mustered enough ability to project magical bullets (which is unlikely) you'd be ignored. You'd need to be strong enough to appear as a boss in order to make it into a game in any real way. ZUN is only a chronicler (with his own modifications to the story). He wouldn't be able to kill you. Random youkai roaming the countryside might, though.

And Gensokyo isn't paradise, it's closer to a paradise on earth (and even then the "paradise" part is debatable). It is not the destination for human souls. If you commit suicide, the best you can hope for in Gensokyo is to appear as a ghost.
