Nope, discovered 4chan about a year ago, but only started downloading anime after that.

So far I've seen:
Lucky Star
Clannad + After Story
Melancholy of Haruhi
Girls Bravo (no troll - got recommended)
Aishiteru ze Baby
Azumanga Daioh (Haven't finished - kind of hard to keep watching)
K-on
Railgun
Toradora!
School Rumble - couldn't get past episode 2 (I think) so I'll have to go back sometime.
Strawberry Panic (Shit is SO cash).

I remember watching Love Hina a few years ago, but in English and the play order was quite random so you could count it as my first. It's shit, in retrospect. Lucky Star was the first proper good anime.

Not the same guy, but Lucky Star was also my first, I got into it through people who I later found out browsed 4chan. If it wasn't for that, I wouldn't have ended up on /a/, and would have never found Touhou or /jp/ from there.
Lucky Star is the reason I found you guys, and I'm very thankful for it.

Just because this is not the Anime board does not mean /jp/ anons don't watch anime. If anything, I'm sure /jp/ browsers have watched more anime over all than /a/, where most have only watched the most mainstream of the mainstream.

Just because this is not the Food board does not mean /jp/ anons don't eat food. If anything, I'm sure /jp/ browsers have eaten more food over all than /ck/, where most have only eaten the most mainstream of the mainstream.

So what did you eat for dinner today, /jp/? I had french fries with a Dutch frikadel and a Dutch kroket.

I had a 3 course meal with my family.
For starter, I had pressed duck confit (which I'm sure gave me diarhoea later).
For main, Turkey with a sausage, roast potato, mashed potato, a bunch of veggies and a ball of stuffing wrapped in bacon.
For desert, a delicious orangey chocolate cake with custard.
All the time I was distracted by how attractive my cousin's 15 year old step-sister was. I'm not going to ask you how weird that is, since I doubt you'd have the same views as society

>> No.6678718

Planetes for me. The show was great all around but what really hit home for me was how the show handled Hachi's choice to drop everything in pursuit of his goal. It had become such a cliche to me for someone to give up on their job for "true happiness" that is really was refreshing to see the reverse. Show significantly influenced my choice to become an engineer.

>>6678294
obviously are not a regular of /ck/. They eat all kinda of stuff but a lot of it is just "HURRRR HOME COOKING BETTER THAN FAST FOOD! YOU ARE ALL SO UNHEALTHY!!!" and you would also know about the notorious Pink Himalayan Salt and their cock sauce which taste really nasty and I don't recommend buying it ever, it's like garlic, spicy, ketchup. Oh and there is also daily steak wars where everyone just has a flame war about how they like their steak. Me personally, I like my steak completely raw on the inside and slightly seared on the outside.

>> No.6678770

there is an unhealthy lack of saging in this terrible thread.

this type of thread by these types of poster are why /jp/ is always so horrible on holidays.

i hate you all.

NHK was overly satirical shit and I have no clue how people can be influenced by that. I'd have to agree with the anons saying k-on!, it reminds me to take it easy, something everyone can enjoy.

so you really like Lucky Star but can't seem to finish Azumanga? Honestly I thought if you love one, you will love the other. I sure love them both.

NHK did snap me back to reality. Not a pleasant thing. Is that for the better? I doubt it...

sorry for going all /a/ here
