Does /jp/ like /mu/?

>> No.6551914

/Mu/ seem reasonable enough. Though I never go there I've kind of wanted to ask them for their opinion on ZUN's music.

>> No.6551913

I posted the suwako link in /mu/ if thats what you're getting at.

>> No.6551929

>/mu/

Full of hipsters and normalfags. It's shit.

From what I've seen, most /mu/ visitors dont enjoy music for the same reasons the average person does. They get some sense of superiority from knowing bands no one else has ever heard of, regardless of its quality, even though it is subjective.

Thats a good idea. Someone should make a thread. I'm too scared to try it myself and shit up a board I do not frequent.

they are elitistfags--we would get along perfectly!

>> No.6551950

/mu/ and /jp/ don't really listen to the same kind of music. A lot of the stuff /jp/ would listen to would be probably characterized as "weeaboo shit" if we went to /mu/ and asked them for their thoughts, but since /mu/ isn't made of faggots who raid other boards (usually) they recognize that different people have different tastes.

Mostly we just leave each other alone.

Metathreads are spam. You have failed.

/mu/ actually likes a lot of japanese music because it makes them feel like they have obscure tastes.
and people there are tolerant to anime and videogames, there are threads about them daily

I like non-weeaboo music, but I'm not so sure about /mu/. One of their recommendation pictures was useful, but people probably say the same thing about /jp/.

>> No.6552075

Looks like /mu/ doesn't think much of ZUN's music....

>> No.6552118

If you had to split things into good/shit boards, /mu/ would be one of the few boards that falls on the good side, even if it's not so great anymore. They don't raid and they've got a strong insular culture like we do. My one gripe is that it is not nearly as elitist as it once was, due to all the kids discovering 4chan, but you can still find cool stuff there. They're now OK with Japshit too, which is funny considering how the Anime Expert meme was invented there back in the day.

>> No.6552121

I listen to a lot of hipster bullcrap thanks to last.fm but /m/ is not really my thing. Too fast and too many greentext/reaction images.
