The funny thing is that all that bodybuilder's muscle turns to fat with age. Every time. Left will look exactly like right in another 10-20 years.

It's best to just stay thin. Which isn't pictured here, but what I will be doing.

You eventually lose fitness... with that, your muscles will de-bulk.

The muscles don't literally turn to fat, they will de-bulk because the body tends to recycle or repurpose whatever components that it can use. The liver takes in the broken down muscle proteins / AAs and converts them to fat. Unless you starve yourself (unlikely since you can't feel when your body does this) you turn into a fat piece of shit. And since bodybuilders have been accustomed to decades of actually eating more than normal, their brains and bodies will not allow them to change their diet since the body still thinks that it needs all that energy. And then you get fat.

Really, there's no arguing with this here, there's absolutely nothing wrong with being lean and fit, but being a super-buff dude WILL carry consequences. Our bodies were not designed to bulk up that much, that shit ain't natural.

Some bodybuilders still look fine in their 60's. It all depends on how well you take care of yourself. If anything building all that muscle is better for you as you age anyways.

Older people hurt themselves and fall down stairs because their leg muscles suck. Need to keep up them squats.
