My internet is dying and I need to do 16+ hours of missions to get to star rank. I wish I played more before.

Every time I log in, it just reminds me of what I'm losing. So many bots with parts exclusively from Garapon bots tuned to perfection. I'll will probably never have them again. And even if I did, I'll still lose my flag and scarf. I can't even get the crappy beta scarf. I almost wish there were no tournament prizes.

Oh lord. What I'm going to miss most is my Ouka Kamuro and Crim-chan. I thought we were getting Crim-chan as a reward for playing beta but then found out it's a Laz-chan in a bikini.

I wonder if CB will go back to early first beta days when it fully starts a new. Where Jikun Hus rained rampant as the main land, people had virtually no tuneups at all, and the concept of being in the air for stupidly long amounts of time was not around.

English Cosmic Break will apparently be much different from Japanese Cosmic Break in pricing and what's a cashbot and what's not. What bots do you think are going to be widely available in English Cosmic Break? Aside from the Bloom Mariahs and Swimsuit Laz-chans nearly everybody is going to have since they played beta.

I doubt we'll be going back to the early days of Beta 1, though. Fights will be 40% people who abuse the cash shop to have the overpowered builds we know and love, 40% people who try to cobble together said overpowered builds from free parts (hoppers and such) and 20% people that just try to have fun with whatever they can get only to get steamrolled by the cash shop users or annoyed to hell and back by the anally minmaxed non paying folk.

Thinking about it. Cosmic Break could benefit a lot from having more missions as those aren't PvP oriented. And possibly revamping quests into something interesting. Removing the PvP focus would be a good way of preventing a you must pay to be good image of the game. But then again PvP seems to be the meat of this game. I wonder how Cosmic Break will evolve from now on. It seems that most new content is new robots. The missions and Ark bosses are pretty well done. But there's not that many of them. I wonder if there will be anything like a design an Ark boss contest or something like that.

Trade robot parts/weapons for points, trade points for lucky boxes, each lucky box costs either 5000 or 8000 points depending on the difficulty of the mission you do. The main problem with getting game warrior is that after the first beta, you were pretty much always playing in a room that had someone from the top ten in it, which meant you were competing with someone who had a bot specifically kitted out for maximum faggotry.

I sucked too much to be ranked. All my bots had standard parts because I didn't want to turn them into monstrosities like everyone used. I couldn't even recognize what people had in the tournament, almost all of them were Frankensteinian monsters made of random parts. The only upgraded bots I had were 2 Ivises with 40 walk and in the last couple of days I put 34 Tec on my Ouka Kamuro for derping around.

Plus I tried using an ABR in the last few matches and couldn't hit shit captain. I was averaging 400 damage a match. I mostly used things like Stardust cannons and bazookas the whole game which are easier to hit people with. I'd rather have stuck with the ranked rooms where I was on equal ground with other people with shit bots that couldn't hit shit. At least there I was in the top 5 every round. Ahh well.

At least I had my Mami flag at the end. Now I see what Derpsuke meant by going in to fights with Koromo at his side, I adored it. Thanks for those who helped me figure out how to import it.

I chose parts specifically because I liked the looks of them. I tuned them up and my Pacifar was almost as good as if I chose better parts. I like that it is shorter than most bots too. And the Ace Braver booster looks way better than any other booster except maybe Brickgale's.

You can still make great bots with lesser parts. They just need to be slotted so you can tune.

How about like Armored Core? You can aim freely and if you keep them in your crosshairs for a moment, you can get a lock on them.

I played up to like AC3 before I realized your normal guns would lock onto enemies and auto-lead them if you let it.

The shield becomes useless – even a nuisance – if there's any melee around, though. It doesn't help that activating and even deactivating it stuns you for a good second.

Certain builds with a lot of firepower can tear through the shield in a second. Blasters can also pop it with one or two shots because every single projectile hits it. In these situations it gives a nice support score but it's otherwise useless.

Sometimes it's just god tier, though.

Yes the rare large air with blasters could tear through your shields and if you got too close to a sturbanger you were in serious trouble but I found those situations pretty rare indeed. The only real issue I had was melee, I was hit by FOUR Ivises at once, they probably all went, 'oh hey Baltheon GET HIM!' That was the suck. Most of the time people would just team up to take down my shields or the occasional moron would fly circles and shoot me with ABRs and I would wonder, what are they thinking? So much fun.

The best map was Random Arctanus. Baltheon there is GODLIKE.

You get a few good robots and free Rt from ranking up though. They recently changed it, you used to only get a Lazflamme, then they added Winberyl, and now it goes all the way up to Jikun Long, about 50 free Rt in total, a few hundred thousand UC and so on.

There's also an event that gives you 50Rt for roughly 60,000UC, that resets every month, and whenever Cyberstep misses a maintenance deadline they hand you some extra Rt, so combine those with your rank-up Rt gifts and you'll be swimming in cash bots very quickly.

As an example, I only have about 200 hours of playtime, but Rt-wise I've gotten 5x Slot Protector Omega, 2x Cosmo Harmonics Gamma, a Limit Break L5, a Limit Break L8, Thoarla (with +1TEC +1FLY accessory), Aquila Mk. II (with +10CAPA accessory), Tesladonna Coil, Izuna Kamui Nagi, Ceramic Burner, Paralyzer, Divine Blade and Assassin Edge, without paying any money.

I just thought of something great. A bot that drops part of itself somewhere and the other controllable part uses a laser to guide, well, anything ridiculous to it's target area. Of course, the dropped part could be picked up again and it needs to be within range of the target. And to make it so that you don't just stand next to the dropped part, it would also damage enemies in the immediate area (and you, but not teammates).

The power spot would only work if you are in it, not the dropped part. I guess there needs to be more of a downside. Like it isn't affected by the power spot and your bot moves half speed while it is dropped.

Either way, it needs to have a huge AoE and be powerful. Pretty much a single purpose bot.

Cyber Step will never be creative enough to do anything like this.

And a landmine bot sounds great. But to sacrifice HP for it, it would need to have really good mines to make it worth it. At least you couldn't run out if you keep healing.
