He would delete genuine threads, like threads about Reimu being hot. You may argue that doing that is fine, it's not actually touhou, but a touhou girl and it doesn't belong on /jp/. But then what? All threads about hot 2D girls deleted, idol threads allowed to stay because posting about them is on-topic because idols are all about that. /jp/ gains an image as a normalfag board.

Someone invaded and posted Doubles guy shit for a couple hours straight. At the same time, the anime spammers went into full retard mode to try to outspam the Doubles stuff. So we had multiple sets of spammers trying to out spam each other. By the time a mod came, the board was nothing but spam.

I've never in my life seen a message board where the moderation was sensible and performed their task proficiently and fairly. This place is no exception.

The junk posting is never truly stopped because it comes from within. Mods showing up only seems to aggravate the "what does and doesn't belong on /jp/" meta bullshit that seems to have taken /jp/ by storm for several months now.

In the end, nothing is solved. Neo-/jp/ is incapable of taking it easy.
