Are you kidding? Just because you didn't win doesn't mean you're not improving. Your Okuu is getting scary now that you know some blockstrings. The problem isn't the character you're playing, it's that you're too predictable. For example, you always cancel 6A into 6C so if I rightblock the 6A I can dash in. If you did something like 6A > 3A I would have to think twice about grazing. Just remember that you have multiple options for every situation you're in.

Alright, if you can do that at the character select, you're done. From what I remember, while in casual nonsense like EFZ and whatnot doing that is fine, in soku it's mocking to the other player or something. At least that's probably the case because I'm offended by it for some reason, so maybe some angry experience was had with it years ago or something, I dunno.

But what, did you think I was some sort of super god or something? I only set up a couple decks for now, everything's still really fuzzy except for some of my favorite techniques; and of course, those are all anti-tourneyfag shit with some silly positioning involved. Since you hit so many buttons and ceilinghugged so much none of those seemed to work very well, and I think that may just have been the whole reason for why I quit last time. Yes, I'm frustrated.

So that all said I think I'm quitting again, let's play some EFZ or something until the next toohoo fightan comes out.

Honestly I can't give you too much advice, I'm just naturally pretty bad at fighting games (one of my biggest weaknesses is my shitty defense, so I can't help you too much there). As long as you keep playing you'll probably reach or surpass me at my best in no time. My friend just picked the game up about a week ago and he can beat me a lot of the time.

I also have no idea how to play as Cirno so don't feel bad about that, seriously. I guess if I were to give you any advice I'd just say be more aggressive and mix things up more, you used the same move several times in succession a few times I think which wouldn't really work on anyone better than me.

Earlier in the Reimu match, that was one of Reimu 5 cost spell cards where if she connects with enough melee attacks it'll instantly kill the opponent. Some simple basics that you can try which also works across all characters:
Charging your high or low melee attack can break the guard of turtling players. You can follow up with the Dial A or a spellcard.
You can high jump (Press down before up) immediately after throwing most projectiles, canceling some of the delay.
Block on wakeup unless you're Okuu. The game in my opinion favours defensive play.

It's probably easiest to practice BEs against Tenshi's rock drills as you probably won't be hit by followup attacks. You did BE a few times in those games but the direction you chose meant the followup melee would still catch you. How they work is simply during blockstun, you can press any direction, and double tap the graze button twice to trigger it. After blocking a first hit, you're actually stuck blocking (blockstun) for a very short amount of time regardless of what button you press or what direction you hold. This lets you safely hold down or up or forward or whatever and BE without lowering your guard.

Also forgot to mention: simply jumping out of the corner and then airblocking while under pressure (even if you get hit doing it), is the easiest way to escape strings until the high end of mid-tier. You don't have to worry about airtight block strings, staggered melee to punish escapes and aerial guard crushes while playing other beginners. Heck, for all of low tier you can just block until the other player runs out of steam and counter...
