Hey /jp/ I've been wondering something...

Now we all know that ZUN can't draw for his life, but with all the fanart that has come out for all the characters over the years, how come he has yet to ever actually thinking of getting someone else to do the art for his games?

I'm pretty sure that any number of Touhou fans that draw fanart would willingly art the art for his next game for free
just for the fact that they get to help make one of their favorite games.

By now you kinda expect his art, and it's kind of endearing in its own way. Really it doesn't matter one way or another, I think. At least, Fairy Wars's art didn't cause much of a commotion.

It's like a competition. Who can make the best art based on ZUN's horrible drawings? Who can decipher strange hands and poofy hats everywhere in order to make magic from shit? You take away the shitty art and you are taking away one of the core pieces of Touhou.

Makoto Hirasaka's style bothers the hell out of me. All of the characters look like they're overweight or haven't lost their baby fat. Adorable, though.
