What in this life is worthwhile? Great equalizer is death.

>> No.6150533

Very few people do. The average person simply lives their life affecting a small sphere of influence but overall doesn't leave any lasting accomplishments.

Let me guess, it's an online store, not a real store, that you operate out of your bedroom. You import VNs and rare manga, and your one customer you hope to have is some anonymous from /jp/ who said he'd buy something from you.

No. It's a Comic Book/ Manga shop. With a physical location. I've Already Sold $900 worth of stuff to people I've gone to School with, in one day. People, after learning what my store is keep coming by my shop to see if I'm open yet.

tl;dr: I'm my own boss. I make money. Fuck your shit

u mad frend?
Even if he opened the greatest store of all time and was remembered for it for millennia after his death and immortalized as a merchant god, he would have still died as any other, and would not live to see any footprint he left on the world.

His accomplishments matter for naught, only the happiness those accomplishments were able to bring him during the time he was actually alive.

You come here, you great infection of normal, to say what?

What is worthwhile? How loaded, the only thing worthwhile is the happiness of the individual, the enjoyment of life. But would you come in here and say "you will never be happy"? No, because you know then that what you ask for can be well measured, and most respondents have at least felt some level of happiness to know of the word at all. And you wouldn't be able to look down on them, or bring them down to your level, relieve a bit of boredom by calling losers people who you are equal with, or above, or below, because there is no huge correlation between money and satisfaction.

The same could be said for all humanity. Eventually we'll all be dead every one of us, and all our descendants, and the universe won't care. Nobody will remember; nobody will be around to remember. All our great works and achievements won't be worth a single pin.

I think I'll go out for coffee.
