I miss when going to /jp/ was fun and it felt like I was being a part of something and not just browsing another forum full of self-important cliques and aggressive posters who will snap over the smallest of things.

Also, learn to read the rules, trolling is not allowed outside of /b/, and abusing the report system is also violating the rules. If you can't follow these simple rules, go back to /b/ where you can hang out with your troll summerfriends where you are at least allowed to act like a 5 year old.

Had a great time when the board was launched. Figurines, touhou, VN. Finally a board for proper discussion.

Things changed when the memes ('Aya is a slut!' 'Sanae likes cocks!') took a foothold. But then, again, 4chan went for another low with the scientology protests in 2008. A considerable amount of /jp/ users must be from the generation of hype visitors that stayed.
