Honestly I believe that Cirno is on a much higher plane than the rest of fairies. Cirno no longer reincarnates and changes with the seasons as other fairies do. She is much stronger than most fairies, and has a train of thought besides "yay nature". In PoFV, Shikieiki states that fairies can't get any stronger, yet in Fairy Wars she's giving Marisa a run for her money, even if she was going easy on her. Same in Soku, she did have to beat Utsuho in order to survive. She's obviously getting stronger.

This game suddenly made canon Cirno much more interesting.

I liked the fact that the game seemed harder than the usual because Cirno perceives things that way (possibly because even though she's the strongest fairy, she isn't really on par of the main characters). The fight with Marisa was pretty nice, just like the life-draining lasers that don't kill you , the fact that who one who got her clothes torn off was Cirno, and that line from Marisa.

Hopefully, this game might pull the western fanon Cirno out of complete retard "HURR EYE AM STORNGST!!1" territory.
