The lack of music makes up the suspense though.

And the art is very reasonable because Tsukihime was made when TYPE-MOON was just a doujin pair of Nasu and Takeuchi.

I'd say the music serves its purpose pretty well most of the time. It does tend to get repetitive after you've completed several routes. Visually it's not top notch, but the scenario makes up for all that.

Yeah, but what really sucks IMO is the contradictions. Arcueid's objective was to kill Roa, then what the hell was she doing in all the far side routes? Surely she got her powers bak at the end, but really, her mission was to find Roa and destroy him. Nrvnqsr wouldn't have been able to scratch her considering she wasn't weakened. I hope they fix this somehow on the remake.

I think something along that lines is explained in one of ciel senpai's lessons. She says something about Roa not being to take over SHIKI because he loses all his reason early in the story so there's nothing to take over.

It doesn't change the fact that SHIKI's soul is Roa's, even if the one in control is SHIKI, Arcueid should have noticed him, but then the story would have been boring, and would have had a weird ending. That's why I am inclined to think that something different happened with her, they show what happened with her(as an interlude) on the remake.

Nrvnqsr can't even scratch her, but she still cannot kill him, only something like Ea or Excalibur can kill him in a single shot. Of course, she might be able to use her Marble Phantasm to create an earthquake or something hax like that, but it would kill everything else around her too, and it just wouldn't be worth it.

It has to hit all 666 lives at once, it does not have to be a LAAAAAAZER beam. Imagine 666 super needles that strike at the same time or 666 Shikis slashing a line(instead of the OHKO dot). Silly, but you get the point. It does not have to be a huuuuuge all range attack to get the effect.
