The pics were leaked to the press a few months ago and posted all over the internet. You might not like it but Kamei did have a boyfriend and wasn't very discreet about it. I'm sorry but it is true. This "skin condition" excuse is about as believable as Kanna's "bunion".

I guess I'm glad the pandas are leaving. They'd be better off in China with solo careers than being backup dancers and getting one liners. It was a shit move by Tsunku to add them in the first place if he was just going to take them out 3 years later. It's probably better too that they graduate with Kamei rather then by themselves because the attention would be bittersweet. I just was hoping it'd be Takahashi, but fuck, it looks like she'll be in until she's 30. The audition should be awesome if Tsunku can pull his head out of his ass this time.

Yea I can't really figure that move out either, especially all the upsides of their investment in them could truly start paying off.

Honestly, I wish it would of been Sayu or Gaki-san. I love Eri's singing style but she seemingly became a little distant recently (hard to explain)

Sayu could of just as easily just transitioned with her character on television but with Eri we have no idea what she is going to do... ;___;
Maybe some more voice acting or modeling? This is really tough to answer for Eri. Will she continue to do the radio shows with Gaki-san?

And we cannot lose leader at any costs. I agree the auditions could be an awesome thing, I really wonder if Tsunku will bring in three girls, this number seems only obvious to get back up to 8 members. But perhaps he will also add some in house members too?

Consider the fact that the total applicants for 8th gen were less than 1/3 of the 7th gen totals.

In the last thread one observant anon suggested that girls that were "the whole package" ie too good for MoMusu might get passed up/try for AKB instead. What I wonder is if the MoMusu brand name still has the power to attract this caliber of girl -which I think MM desperately needs at this point - in the first place.
If you were a marginally talented Japanese girl, aged10-17, would you want to take your chance on what many consider to be a sinking ship or would you try and find your ticket elsewhere?

Not hating on anyone's waifu, just trying to think about this objectively.

Junjun and Linlin should stay for a little while longer, until they have new girls. It was so stupid to graduate them now. Doing an audition after graduation is a slap in their faces

It should be Gaki and Kamei to graduate together since they are a better pair than Aichan and Gaki. Sayu becomes subleader then Ai graduates next.

Sayu gets more attention and will make the best replacement for leader. Tanaka fits right in as sub-leader.

The next group of newer gens will have to have talent and not be just another cute faces when Sayu becomes leader.

What is it with you and trying to have the leader of all of H!P leave? Gaki-san is a great sub leader and she may be the next to go quite honestly.

Eri I think was the least motivated or excited to try and step her presence up which does in fact make her a better choice for graduation.

How can you really see it that way? It's been years since the last audition, the group needs some new blood in there.

Perhaps the timing is kind of jumbled I can get that, trying to max the hype for the fall tour and maximize the excitement for the new class at the same time.

Talent wise and probably the most obvious experienced fans would agree upon but consider this.

Reina doesn't have the same reverence and respect to H!P as Ai-chan has. In fact one could say that Reina would make for quite a gaffe leader of H!P, because replacing Ai-chan would in fact also require someone to take the highest position.

UFA should select Beckii Cruel for their 9th generation member. She already has a strong support among Japanese mowotas due to her acknowledging of H!P's existence, and her connection with Sayumi will undoubtedly ensure that she will pass the audition without much hassles.
I hope Beckii has already heard that they'll be hiring new members, and if she hasn't someone should inform her ASAP. I'd do it personally, but I don't know how to contact her.

What is it with you and trying to have the leader of all of H!P leave? Gaki-san is a great sub leader and she may be the next to go quite honestly.

Eri I think was the least motivated, laziest or least excited to try and step her presence up which does in fact make her a better choice for graduation.

How can you really see it that way? It's been years since the last audition, the group needs some new blood in there.

Perhaps the timing is kind of jumbled I can get that, trying to max the hype for the fall tour and maximize the excitement for the new class at the same time.

Unfortunately it is only an incremental step up from Koharu's venue. But at least it wasn't simply just slammed into the currently scheduled fall tour and they scouted a location and gave time in between dates.

I'm sure the venue details are available or will be made more available shortly. As you know graduation tickets are a hot bidding item and this is something really unordinary with three graduates.

But an Eri send off will be special regardless, I really wonder how they will specialize in the concert to send the pandas off.

We know for certainty it will not be like Koharu's graduation.
