I switched to Tsubaki from Rachel. I love her fighting style, and I was always pretty shit with Rachel anyway. I'm not very good so I should be using a noob character anyway, and this way I can learn the ropes while not playing an OP faggot like Ragna.

Is there any point to unlocking Mu-12 in story mode? Does she play any differently and can you use her online?

Yes, she's an entirely different character and can be used online. She's along the lines of Venom in Guilty Gear, if you ask me.
