Hey /jp/, my friend wants me to use my "Legit computer skills" to give his song a voice in japanese, so here's what I need to know.

What programs can I use for this(I'm thinking vocaloid or UTAUloid)?
Will it be possible to translate the song to japanese without me actually doing work(Will it sound normal in japanese for the most part, or will it be stuff like "This is bullet curtain shooting game, please wait warmly)?
Also, which voice should I use(I have no idea what genre he wants the song either so...)?

Here's the song in question.

TL;DR version: Need to voice a song in japanese, will I have to do work to make the song lyrics make sense, and what voice should I use for the song in question?

You're stupid.

The part thats confusing me is the "make it make sense"

Vocaloid/Utaloid work based on what you make them say...so I don't even understand what you're asking. If you put in I LIKE DICKS they will say they like dicks.

well 'put in' isnt really how you do it, but you get my point.

This is a train wreck.

>> No.5729743

1: vocaloid.

2: get the lyrics going before you worry about a program.

3: you won't be able to use vocaloid unless you can sequence notes in MIDI, so I hope you can do that.

So OP, you don't know Japanese but you want to write a song in Japanese?

Yeah. Study hard for 2 years and then do it, that's the only way.

Are you going to google translate English lyrics to Japanese?

Yeah it'll be perfect don't worry about it

>> No.5729766

Alright, thanks guys, I have the information I need.
>>5729749
I was thinking more like japanese dictionary and translating back to english to see if it makes sense, but whatever.

You don't know japanese! How can you call yourself a weeaboo?!

I feel this chart is strangely appropriate.

YOU WHAT

>which voice should I use
Luka, Miki, and the loli have the most natural sounding voice if you ask me, depending on what pitch you use, but Miku has the most marque-value.
>Will it be possible to translate the song to japanese without me actually doing work
No.

Protip before you do: Japanese grammar doesn't work the same way as English.

Your sentence structure will sound no better than "sausage me buys".

Why do I even need to say this

Use Luka because I have Yuu Asakawa's signature and she has my present and because she's the best vocaloid.

It always hurts my head when people think they can just transliterate English into Latin too.
Although at least in that case you're dealing with a dead language.

But what if I know spanish and fully understand latin sentence structure

>> No.5729854

Latin has no sentence structure

I think I just died a little inside.
How can you be so oblivious about the structure of other languages, OP? Do you only know one language?

so much bullshit in there

>> No.5729942

use miku hatsune or luka
