I just wanted to see if this place consists of ricerfags and idiots who buy overprice razer crap for example.

>> No.5676182

Seems accurate. I have an old Dell keyboard that types masterfully. I had a Logitech which was a piece of shit.

I agree for the most part, but my Razer works flawlessly. I also got it new from a friend for cheap after he didn't want it.

Nothing wrong with buying a Razer if it satisfies your needs.
I have a Razor Naga (~600 USD here) for my graphics work along with tablet and a Logitech MX Revolution for schoolwork.
Nowadays I just use my Wacom Bamboo for regular surfing.

I browse /g/ as well as /jp/ I own a Unicomp. Love. Also some basic Microsoft mouse I bought recently. Works fine for me.

>> No.5676302

A Razer diamondback came for free with the last computer I bought. I like it a lot. I just wish it had a weighted scroll wheel, not a clicky one.

It also came with a keyboard from Creative, which sucks massive amounts of dick. The control key often times does not work at all, so copy and pasting anything is an exercise in seeing " v " places you wanted copied text to go.

I have a 8 year old keyboard. It has life brewing in it.

>> No.5676387

Logitech Cordless Deluxe 660.
Bought it for I think 29 Euros around 3 years ago.

Very basic wireless mouse and keyboard, without much extra shit that just takes away space and is ugly and distracting. Hard to get nowadays.

Life as in actual life?
I have a bunch of vermin and various kinds of small insects in my keyboard.
They seem to die quickly, but it doesn't seem to be enough to actually make them go extinct.

It sucks when they crawl under a certain key, and jams it.

>> No.5676442

I know a guy who didn't have any weed, so he went through his keyboard and gathered up a pile of crumbs. He probably smoked 10+ years worth of keyboard gunk.

Feels so-so man.
The sensitivity buttons on the mouse is a pain in the ass though.

>> No.5676558

I don't understand.

You type with a keyboard. You sometimes play games with them.

If it works, it works.

What is there to discuss

>> No.5676569

my keyboard cost me about $5

What's wrong with the Mac keyboards? You could argue all you want about the computers themselves being overpriced, but I had to use an iMac all last year for my campus newspaper, and the keyboards worked well.

Sage for off-topic.

Keyboards are apparently status symbols these days.

>> No.5677180

I don't really care for make. My current keyboard was made by some now defunct company, but it still works so I still use it.

The main thing I hate about modern keyboards is that they all seem to be trying to be slim. I hate that. I like a bit of bulk on my keyboard, so I can actually depress the keys and so it won't rattle around the table if I type heavily.

I found an old mac keyboard at a yardsale, from back when the logo was still multicolored, and the arrow keys are arranged in a line instead of the "T" shape they are today. Problem is, I can't connect it to my computer, because it doesn't have the right plug.

Anyways, I have a really old Dell mechanical (noisy as fuck) PS/2 keyboard and still lives to deliver.
