So ShKanontrice confirmed, fiction confirmed, bomb confirmed.
What do you guys think of Umineko now, still taking it seriously?

Oh and by confirmed I mean that R07 basically said "1 + 1 = ?", most people who aren't completely dumb would know the answer but you'll always have the biggest retards at the back of the class who will yell NO IT'S NOT TRUE 1 + 1 CAN'T MEAN 2 IT'S IMPOSSIBLE.

How the fuck would you even come to that conclusion? Bomb theory was disproved ages ago and there's no evidence for Kanon being Shannon seeing how they ARE IN THE SAME ROOM AT THE SAME TIME AND LOVED BY DIFFERENT PEOPLE.

>> No.5622419

Evidence for Kanon being Shannon.

In EP1, Shannon uses the 1st twilight to publicly disappear. After this is accomplished she leaves the shed and is Kanon.
In EP3, Kanon's body is moved out of the Chapel after, redressed by George as Kanon, and her corpse is presented once again. Both of the bodies have Identical Wounds.
Kanon's body is not found in EP2 or EP4 but he is confirmed dead. Shannon is also dead when this is confirmed.

EP6 has it as the main theme.

It depends on the interpretation of this:

"Even if we welcome you, the number of people is 17."

Does that mean, there are only 16 real people on the island?

Or does that mean, there are exactly 17 real people and Furudo Erika is not a real person for the purposes of that number.

An angel indeed, but, that wasn't quite what I was referring to. Say Shkanontrice is true(It is).

Just how did Jessica spend her entire life not knowing? And don't give me an answer as simple as she just didn't notice, she lives on the freaking island and has Shannon as her best friend.

There's something WACKY going on here, this I can tell you for sure.

Heck, it's also kinda odd that we never really find out about Jessica's past from her mouth. The most we know about her is that she dressed up as Marisa and was into Kanon a year ago, the rest we've had to piece together from things Natsuhi and Krauss have said.

Compare this to every other character, who have each gone on long rants about their pasts and such, Kyrie, Natsuhi, Eva, George....

Well, I digress. With all the magic trials and Kanon and Shannon being two different people in fantasy scenes, it is rather tough to forget that in reality, we are dealing with a mentally ill girl, one who Jessica knows very well.

With Jessica, this fact is something that can't be ignored. We have to learn, concretely, if she was truly ignorant and why, before we can call this a day.

Each and every mystery can mostly be solved even without Shkannon being used(I haven't quite come up with a valid way to make anything work in the logic error, so I would be willing to say Shkannon is a high possibility answer for that one.). There you have it. ShKannontrice is true. If we accept all the clues about ShKannon then we must accept this one as well. Beatrice is in the same situation as Shannon and Kanon and thus, she's also the same person.

>> No.5624293

There's still a few questions that need answering. Now that Shakanontrice is pretty much confirmed...

Who is the "mastermind?"

From both the red text and the differences in each game we can infer that piece "Beatrice" is being controlled by another character, and that at least one of the episodes (four) has her breaking free of the person controlling her and goes on a rampage.

The big question then is - who?

>> No.5624303

>>5624293
Possibilities:
1. Jessica. There's absolutely no way she wouldn't know her BF and BFF are the same person. The fact that she's the one who always brings up the relationship between Shannon and George (Battler always learns about it through her) is also suspect.

2. Jessica, George and Maria together. All three of them are emotionally invested in at least one of the aspects of Sayo. Having the "mastermind" actually be a conspiracy on the part of Battler's cousins sounds farfetched, but it makes sense in a few respects.

First, it provides a plausible reason as to why Battler wouldn't find out about some things that might actually be "common knowledge" to everyone else. Battler's cousins are the people closest to him in all of the episodes; they effectively control what he knows about any event he doesn't see personally, and they're the only ones (besides Kumasawa) who can talk with him about a lot of topics without coming off as suspicious (imagine if Gohda or Genji started going on about the legend of Beatrice or how this or that person fell in love with a servant).

Second, it provides motive. It sounds insane to conspire to kill your family with a crossdressing maid--it is--but many things more stupid have been done in the name of "love." We've already seen that Maria has a deep-seated resentment of Rosa and wouldn't mind her dying a very grisly death. George has consistently indicated that he is willing to fight against his family for his relationship with Shannon. Jessica... it's harder in her case, but how she wants to leave the island and not become the next head resonates with the "Shannon" personality.

>> No.5624306

>>5624303
Third, it (partially) explains what the hell happened in episode four. There was no epitaph killing because halfway through, Jessica and George had a falling out, which led to Sayo acting erratically (independently?) and to everyone else in the mansion showing their allegiances in the ensuing struggle, resulting in a bloodbath where nearly everyone dies before the end of the first day.

Fourth, they make a very good team when working together. Jessica has determination, extensive knowledge of the mansion/island and excellent acting, George has intelligence, diplomacy and money (He's working, whereas Jessica only a salary), and Maria has encyclopedic understanding of the occult + the little kid factor (no matter what suspicious things she does, one's going to suspect her because of her age).

More than any one or two of the adults, they have, as a group, motive (a more personal motive than just "I need money," anyway) and opportunity to pull off the crime on Rokkenjima.

3. There is no "mastermind?" The person doing the killing, changes with each episode, so it's possible that trying to pinpoint one character or a set of characters as a "mastermind" is a waste of time; Ryuukishi already went out of his way to show us that Umineko is a mystery with no detective, so it's not unthinkable that the reverse would be true.

Your thoughts, people?

The problem with Shkannon is that its retarded. Its seriously twisted logic on the same level as "Kinzo is a title!" or other such things that were used in the Episode 4 Tea Party.

That is, the problem with Shkannon is that you can't make a backround story for how a DID crossdressing Meido could stay undercover for YEARS (or why the entire family would cover for her); not to mention how or why she would take part in the murders themselves (if she did).

There are major problems to be explained if Shkanon is to be accepted as a truth.

Even if we disregard completely the fact that Natsuhi, Krauus and Jessica should have know that they giving two checks for the same person, there are other strange points.

For example, we have the two guestrooms of EP6.
While its possible that ''Shannon and Kanon'' were put in different rooms to fool Erika into believing there were two of them it makes NO FUCKING SENSE if you take the family perspective.

Krauss, Hideyoshi and Rudolph ORGANIZED THE ROOMS, even if all the story was some bullshit prick on Erika it would be IMPOSSIBLE for nobody in these rooms dont think that its strange that one person was missing, ITT Shannon being Kanon couldnt be in two rooms at the same time.

This trick would only be credible if at least all the people on ''Kanon's room'' knew about Shkanon.

The same goes for the findings of both Shannon and Kanon bodies in EP3, Shannon body in EP1, etc.

I mean, come on, if there's one thing for certain is that Umineko cant be resolved by a single shkanontrice going nuts and killing everyone on a whim.

They would still have noticed though because they are their employers.

Unless Kinzo planned this from birth and got Kanon and Shannon two completely separate identities so that they could get paid separately. But that seems even less likely, so lets just say that Krauss and Natsuhi knew, but had a good reason to cover for Shkannon. Lets just say it was the gold.

That still doesn't explain why none of the visiting family ever noticed or complained about them being two separate people -- or how to hide/pad Shannon's breasts and her clothing, or how Shannon and Kanon can get quickly from one place to another, or why they are both said to be dead in EP3 (I guess this could be a Kanon corpse that was killed before the game started or something).

Found something interesting while using google. This is by the way a 1986 Tropical Storm.

Tropical Storm Dom (Oyang)

"Initially noted as a tropical disturbance in the Philippine Sea on October 2, the system moved slowly west-northwest to the south of the subtropical ridge, becoming a tropical depression on October 4. Crossing the Philippines, the depression caused heavy rainfall and flooding as it emerged into the South China sea and developed into a tropical storm on October 9. Development was slow due to strong upper level winds from the northeast displacing thunderstorms west-southwest of its center. Continuing to track north of due west, Dom made landfall in Vietnam and dissipated as it moved along the Laos/Vietnam border on October 12.[2] A total of 16 perished and damage totalled US$4 million (1986 dollars) in Luzon.[1]"

Well, my speculatory answer would be any foreigners outside of the initial cast of characters. For instance, Erika would be counted among them in my definition because she was introduced AFTER the initial cast of characters were provided. If someone pops up in EP 7, then in my book they're counted among the Chinamen definition. Though as I said it's speculatory, someone else might see it differently.

Avec plaisir.

Let's start off with the first episode. Let it be known that it's more than likely possible there are two groups acting in each episode. The first one is the main group, like for instance Jessica and Shkannon. Jessica is Beatrice and Shkannon are their right hand man. Think of a Higurashi set up. Jessica whines and complains about not having a boyfriend, and probably said something that pissed Shkannon right the fuck off. This is why Beatrice said it's all happening because of that one promise Battler didn't make. Anyway, the second group would be involved due to personal reasons like Eva finding the gold, etc...

Episode one starts off with most of the parents being killed off save Natsuhi and George's father and mother. Two more were added in, Gohda and "Shannon". This is my speculation but Hideyoshi and Eva only survived because they went to bed early, and because the killer didn't have enough people at hand he decided to use those that were present. Mainly Gohda, the parents who decided to stay in the dining room, and Shannon. Shannon and Kanon are the same person, who joined the family under Kinzo's supervision. You could say that this is the baby that fell off the cliff due to Natsuhi's "wish".

The method was quite simple. Kill them all silently, like using absinthe to knock them all out and grabbing a shovel from the shed and hitting them a few times to kill them. Dragging their bodies back to the shed, and smashing their faces in some more to disfigure them. Realizing he needed a quick body to act as Shannon's he decides to use Kinzo's old body. Due to the age of the thing it's most likely mummified so he made due by snapping off Gohda's arm and sticking it in the maid clothes to make it seem fresh. The way the shed was it's so dark you probably wouldn't be able to tell if it was an already dead body.

Look at the picture for a reference. The way the arm is laying provides the example needed to show the body was laying face down. Yeah yeah I know "LOLANIME" but Ryukishi did indeed say he added clues in himself.

Oh and for the whole remembering what happened in the future thing, it's quite simple.

Anyway to continue onto the second twilight. It is easily solvable if Natsuhi is in on it with Kanon. Kanon most likely told her something along the lines of "I know what you did to that child, if you follow my every order then I won't disclose this to anyone, especially your daughter" or something like that. Natsuhi is quite feeble and easily pushed into being in an emotional state of panic. Looking at the picture provided you can see Kanon had a chance to discuss this with her.

Kumasawa was likely in on it too, of course it is easy to dupe an old lady as well. I'll go with the latter theory. Kanon basically did a switch and dupe style of murder. Knocked on a different door than Eva's and Hideyoshi and called out to them. Went inside the room previously to turn on the TV and shower to act as if it was occupied. Then quickly after he was alone went into their actual room and killed them. Dumped Hideyoshi's body into the shower and turned it on to make it fit what he had done previously. Marked the door with the seal and everything else played out as is.

Right. Anyway, during the whole "Grabbing the chain cutter" bit Kanon used that chance to throw Kinzo's dead body into the furnace. Giving him ample time before it started burning. Him and Kumasawa went down into the basement and Kanon ran ahead acting like he was chasing someone. Using a bit of paint from the shed he rubs it on himself and dumps a bit on the ground, takes out a state and skewers his clothes just enough to make it seem like he was stabbed. After that everyone showed up and found him on the ground "bleeding". It might be a good idea to say Nanjo is probably in on it with Kanon. After he takes him to whatever room alongside Jessica, he takes his time and then says Kanon is dead. After that the whole study part happened where the letter was placed and such. Maria being the little shit she is was probably instructed to do place the letter later on during the "Praise the name of the witch" part of the epitaph was next.

Having a chance to get a good few of them Kanon dresses up as Beatrice and storms into the parlor. Using a shotgun he shoots to kill by aiming for the head for Kumasawa, Nanjo, and Genji. After that he told unhooked the phone and dialed the study's number, then boogied on out of there while locking the door with a master key.

The scooby doo gang show up and notice the bodies, however Natsuhi found a letter telling her how the killer is really the kid that fell off the cliff and wants revenge yada, yada, yada. You know the whole cliche bull. Anyway she goes out of the room and blocks it with Mr. Hatstand. Finds Kanon and they have a little classic Clint Eastwood gun draw. She loses and is shot in the head. After that the scooby doo gang comes out of the room, finds Natsuhi dead, and everything plays out like normal.
