I'm not who you originally replied to, and I'm not going to say whether America is more or less racist than Japan overall, since it's really subjective.

But as far as Xenophobia goes, Japan is one of the worst. They don't take kindly to foreigners at all, even (and sometimes, especially) other East Asians.

America, in comparison, generally welcomes other ethnicities/nationalities more easily.
