At this point I really can't see a happy ending for the "real world" characters. They're all gonna die in the Rokkenjima incident. Battler's final prize is to find out the truth of how he died, so his soul can finally rest in peace.

You know, it's been a couple years now. I've had time to consider, argue for and against, change my mind about, dismiss, disregard, validate and invalidate, and wildly postulate about, pretty much every theory there is surrounding Umineko.

And yet after all that, the theory I first created after Episode 3, and refined after 4, always keeps making it's way back to the top of my list. I'm not sure what the popularized theories are anymore, and a few of the abbreviations I've seen are somewhat puzzling (Moontrice? What the hell is that? Does the moon crash into the island?), so I'm not really sure what to compare it to exactly. Just dismissing it as 'Jessitrice' seems trite since all Jessica has to do in all this is show up once with a different hair style and wearing a dress suit. 'Beatrice' is a bit more complicated a creature than that. I'm not really too keen in going into detail anyway. Probably been said before anyway.

Still, I'll be quite happy when Episode 7 rolls around and finally proves me right. Or will it? Hehehe...

R07 confirmed that those two will be assistants of Featherine in her new stories. Also, he leaked the info about the EP7's prologue. The tall guy, named Bob, is a tourist who came to Rokkenjima during his vacation and met a beautiful lady who he fell in love with. That so called lady is no one else than Lambdadelta, but she didn't introduce herself as Lambdadelta but Mary. Meanwhile, on land, a young, beautiful, brown-eyed woman with long, blond hair runs across one of the slums streets in Los Angeles, which we later know that she was running away from chasing after her mafia member, and bumps into red-haired woman. From what we know what happened later, is that they apologized to each other and soon after they both realized they were Japanese. What a plot twist. Next day, the action takes place somewhere around local grocery store when yon blond lady begs the vendor for some bread. He doesn't give her even a crumb. When she sees that, she decides to steal a loaf. And thus then another chase begins. After half an hour of a chase, she loses the seller and walks down the street. Then she sees a familiar girl walking in her direction. That girl notices her too. It was Ange. Ange takes her for a walk and they talk about casual things. She eventually asks her for her name. She introduces herself as Lindsay. Ange likes her. Seeing as she's wearing tattered clothes and she hasn't washed for days, Ange decides to take her to Featherine's base. There, Featherine asks Lindsay if she wants to be one of the characters for her new book; she agrees. Everything goes black. Lindsay wakes up wearing a silly red dress in the middle of a forest. Walking down the path, she meets a young man with glasses. And thus then, the main story begins.

Of course she dies again. End and Requiem are two different types of dying, at least when used to refer to death. Ending someone pretty much means they're dead, killed unceremoniously. Requiem is a much more elegant way to die, putting the soul to rest once and for all.

One big indicator may be the box the game comes in. If it looks like a really nice DVD case, then it's the final chapter. If it's in a CD jewel case, then it's just the next installment.

Battler's figured everything out, and he himself has to kill Beato like he promised back in EP4. They're walking in the Golden Land and Battler has second thoughts. Beatrice tells him to kill her before he decides against it, so they kiss and he stabs her in the heart with a blue dagger. She dies with a smile on her face and thanks him for finally freeing her.

Then Bern and Lambda come in to congratulate a very tearful and heartbroken Battler and tell him that they're bored with the game and are moving on to something else. Bern sends him to another fragment where the murders haven't happened yet, and he finds the gold and stops everything from ever happening. He lives the rest of his life a soulless husk of a man.

Best end...well, for the Voyagers.
