There are several kinds of security cameras and whatnot implemented using super easy to set ip webcams. Most people don't know they need a password to access them. Over time, google locates and indexes them, so it's possible to search for them if you know the garbage that goes in their url interface. This is nothing new.
One night, someone brought this to /b/'s attention, and they set to work checking every single one unsecured at the time. They found empty rooms, cityscapes, farms, monkey cams at zoos, swimming pools, a crystal growing in a lab, an extremely bored man in an office somewhere, puppies, some extremely creepy swinging thing, and one Japanese preschool. Many lulz were had. Here is the only other pic I saved.
