Fuckdamn shitcunts ruining the board once again at an early (for you) hour...so, why the fuck not?

Last time (and all other times linked through the thread chain) here: http://archive.easymodo.net/cgi-board.pl/jp/thread/5399465

While riding on a train home, you fall asleep and begin to have a strange dream. You see a woman in a purple and white dress, and she begins to speak to you.

"Rise and shine, Nanashin, rise and... shine. Not that I wish... to imply that you have been sleeping on... the job. Perhaps it is fate that you have been discovered...or merely it...is coincidence. The right man in the wrong place can make all the difference in the world. So wake up, Nanashin...wake up and... smell the sakura."

You immediately wake up, and the once-crowded train is strangely empty. Looking out the window, you see a landscape that resembles feudal Japan. The train comes to a complete stop, and you exit. Immediately after you leave, the train disappears without a trace. With nothing but your cell phone, a bit of cash on hand, and the clothes on your back, you have been left in the middle of Gensokyo.

You look down from the hill that you're on, see several places in the distance. A mountain, a lake shrouded in mist, a small village, and a shrine on another nearby rise.

CHOOSE YOUR DESTINATION

(yes they will all start out like this because 4 places can still lead to multiple characters)

You shoulder your empty bag and start heading to the shrine. It doesn't seem too far, only about a half a day away. Seeing as it's midday, you should be able to reach the shrine by dusk and gain more information about your exact location.

As Within a few hours, you begin to notice it's growing dark, much darker than it should be at this time of day. Eventually you are surrounded in pitch black darkness, and have no idea if you're headed toward the shrine anymore. You hear a rustling of leaves as you continue, and notice that you're being followed.

"Hello? Is anyone there? I'm sorry to bother you, but I'm lost..." The rustling stops, and you hear a faint giggle, followed by a childish yet sinister voice.

You have no idea what this voice is, but after watching a few horror movies in your day you realize that a little girl talking to you while in a dark place cannot be a good thing. You decide to hold still and hopefully wait for it to pass.

"Hey, where'd you go? I'm so hungry...Are you still here? Anyone?" The voice seems to be coming from a myriad of directions and slowly working its way away from you. Whatever this presence is, it's not very smart. Eventually, the darkness recedes from your position and you see that a small girl with her arms held out in a strange manner was the source. She may have been a bit strange, but considering the fact that she was talking about being hungry, you find it in your best interest to leave her be lest you become a main course.

A few more hours pass and it becomes growing dark naturally. If you quicken your pace, then you might be able to make it there by nightfall or shortly after and hopefully seek solace from whoever resides there. Out of the corner of your eye you see a large purple figure with one large eye lying in a bush.

>>5452739

Against your better judgment you approach the large-eyed thing in the bush. As you get closer to it, you can see its outline clearly and notice that it looks fake. In spite of this, it begins moving around a bit; whatever's behind it doesn't seem to be aware that you're nearby, or doesn't care, but at least it doesn't seem evil. You poke the purple figure in an attempt to get the attention of whoever's holding it.

"Huh?" It starts moving around frantically, revealing a small girl in a blue dress hiding behind it, and the odd purple decoration is an umbrella that she has been hugging tightly. She notices you standing over her, and immediately jumps up in front of you with a nervous expression.

"Uh...uhm...BOO!"

Now that you can clearly see her, you notice that she also has blue hair and heterochromatic eyes; one red, another blue. Despite her odd appearance, you find her to fail at scaring you in the least.

It seems that this girl genuinely wanted to scare you, although her attempt at doing so was horribly bad. Still, you decide to humor her since she doesn't seem like she would hurt you either way. Putting on your best "scared" face, you overact in such a way that only a true idiot would fall for it.

"Aaaah!!! Oh my god! It's a...monster...umbrella...thing! Run!"

She immediately looks at you with sad eyes and drops her umbrella a little. "You don't need to pretend...I know I didn't surprise you. I'm not very good at it, and most people just beat me up when I try to surprise them."

"Well, if it makes you feel any better, I didn't expect to see a large purple umbrella sitting in the middle of the forest...so, that surprised me...I guess."

"Really? So I'm not a failure?" She looks back up at you expectantly, hoping that you'd comfort her.

"Well, you need some work...I did find you before you noticed me, so..."

"Oh...well, I'm going to keep working hard so that I can really surprise someone! Thanks, mister!" She runs deeper into the forest, although you can still see her large umbrella some for quite a while.

Perhaps it's your desire to know something more about her, or just to have someone who knows their way around the forest as night falls, but you decide to run after her.

"Hey, wait up?"

She turns around as you run in her direction and immediately stops running, waiting for you to catch up. Eventually you meet up with her and see that her mood has brightened in your company.

"What is it, mister?" She starts twirling her umbrella in a playful fashion.

"Well, it's getting dark, and I'm trying to get to this shrine I saw. Could you guide me?"

She stops playing around and looks down at the ground. "I can take you there...but I can't go too far or else the shrine maiden will beat me up again..."

"I'll make sure to tell her that you helped me, and she might not bother you so much anymore. I don't know how she acts, but she might be nicer to someone who helped a lost traveler."

"Really? Thanks!" The girl smiles again and starts heading in the direction of what you hope is the shrine from earlier.

"So, what's your name?"

"Oh, my name's Kogasa...what about yours? I'm leading you all this way, maybe you can tell me?"

"Oh sure, my name's---WAAUGH!"

Just as you were about to tell this girl who you were, you fall into a pitfall in the forest floor. "Mister, are you okay?"

"Yeah, I'm fine..." You try to stand up, but feel a very sharp pain in your ankle as you do so. It might not be broken, but you find it better to stay put.

"I'm sorry for asking...but...are you surprised you fell?" Kogasa looks down at you, and you start to question whether or not she was the one who laid the trap.

"Well, it's not every day you fall down a pit...mind helping me up?"

"Hold on...there should be a way to climb out, but I don't know where. The girl who dug the hole should be nearby."

"Oh, someone fell into my hole?"

"Yeah, and they can't get out. Could you help me get them up?"

"Sure."

Following this request, a short girl in a white dress with rabbit ears jumps down and looks at you. "Hmm...you don't seem to be too badly hurt, but you will need some help. Grab onto my hand."

"You're the one who dug the hole?"

"Yeah."

"Why should I trust you?"

"Because I already got you. It wouldn't be fun to pull a prank on someone twice in a row...although it's a bit shocking that someone would be wandering around the forest this late. I was going to call it a night and fill up the hole since nobody came around here..."

You can hear a faint cheer from outside the hole. It seems that Kogasa doesn't care how it happened, just as long as someone was surprised by something she did. The rabbit girl puts your arm over her shoulder and jumps out of the hole, laying you down and looking at your injury.

Not that kind of game.

RELOCATION COMPLETE. CONTINUING.

"I'd rather not move..." You look at the black-haired rabbit girl with a bit of suspicion as she examines your injury.

"Okay, then. I'll be back in a little bit with some help. Don't move, okay?" The rabbit then sets off at a quick pace, leaving you and Kogasa alone in the forest.

"Don't worry. She may like playing pranks, but she means well. She's helped me surprise some travelers before, and she's supposed to bring good luck if you see her."

"Well, I don't feel lucky." You wince in pain as you try to stand and move over to a tree so you're not lying on your back.

"Be careful, don't hurt yourself any more!"

"I told you, I'm fine..."just as you say that, you trip over a root and land on your face in front of a tree.

"Let me help you..." Kogasa turns you over and pulls you under a tree, sitting down next to you.

A few minutes pass before the trickster returns with two other women; another rabbit girl, much taller and with purple hair and red eyes, and an older woman in what appears to be a nurse's outfit.

"Is this the guy?"

"Yeah, he fell into a hole."

The nurse looks sternly down at the smaller girl. "Tewi, you have to stop pulling dangerous pranks...you could kill someone."

"But it's so fun!"

Her gaze then shifts over to the taller rabbit girl. "And Reisen, why weren't you watching her earlier?"

"I was busy helping you--"

"No excuses. Both of you are going to be punished when we get back to Eientei."

In unison, both rabbits go to their knees and bow their heads. "We're sorry, Miss Eirin! We're sorry!"

The woman whose name seems to be "Eirin" approaches you and looks down at your ankle. "This shouldn't be too hard to mend...although I will need your cooperation, Reisen."

"Of course." As the taller rabbit approaches you, you begin to have second thoughts about your treatment.

"If you don't mind my asking, what are you going to do?"

"You have a small fracture in your ankle. While setting the bone and letting it heal through natural means is a simple matter, I have advanced medicine that can heal it instantaneously. I won't go into the details, but the process is very painful. That's what this one is for." She motions over to Reisen, who is currently asking Kogasa to give you some space. "She has an ability that people have called a "Lunatic Gaze." While it can be used to induce insanity, I make use of her assistance as an easy anesthetic. Just look into your eyes and you won't feel a thing."

You look over at Reisen with a questioning gaze. She notices your uneasiness and attempts to reassure you. "She's absolutely right, sir. If you'll cooperate, we can mend your ankle and be on our way very quickly."

"Okay..." You slowly examine the women huddled around you, almost reluctant to leave your conscious state and these women behind. Staring directly into Reisen's eyes, the last thing you see of the real world is a red flash of light. In the next instant, you are in a pristine field, surrounded by flowers of all kinds. In the distance you notice a woman in red plaid speaking to a familiar figure.

"Enjoying this paradise, Nanashin?" The figure approaches you slowly as the other woman leaves and fades into the distance.

"I apologize for intruding in your...vision...but I'm afraid that I must speak to you concerning certain events. An eerie wind blows across the field as the woman opens her parasol and beckons you to follow her.

"I was not...expecting you...to familiarize yourself with so many residents of this land in such a short time...you certainly have made a name for yourself, especially in the mind of this one." She makes a motion, and Kogasa appears in the field. "Please do not grow... too attached to her. Although she is nice to you, she has a...reputation...in this land that may result in unforeseen consequences. While I would rather stay out of your affairs, your survival is integral. She herself may not be dangerous, but her...enemies...certainly are. Do be careful."

The woman disappears, and you immediately feel yourself fading away from this flower field. As you wake up, you feel that your ankle has a newfound strength, and the two rabbits and nurse have left you with your companion, who is resting her head on your shoulder.

>this might be the last update for a while since I have an hour commute and the thread might be dead by the time I get home, but I won't end this section with a huge cliffhanger.

You admire Kogasa's peaceful sleeping face for a little bit, and contemplate joining her. However, seeing as you had just fallen into a hole and run into someone who seemed to enjoy eating people, it's probably a good course of action to get out of the forest as fast as possible.

You gently nudge Kogasa in an attempt to get her awake and show you the way out of this forest and hopefully find a safe place to spend the night. As you shake her, she opens her eyes slightly and lets out a small wimper, but doesn't do much other than stir. It would seem that she needs a bit more outer stimulation to wake her up.

>I just remembered that I could have made Nanashin go full-blown pervert with Kogasa's sexy legs. Oh well.

It may seem a bit forward, but temptation eventually gets the better of you as you continue to stare at your cute friend and guide. You lean down over her, carefully move her hair away from her face, and prepare to embrace her. You notice her light breathing as she's sleeping, and inch closer to her face with your own.

As you get closer, you close your eyes and give her a gentle kiss. While it's not the greatest sensation, you eventually move from a gentle loving gesture to a full romantic embrace. You wrap your arms around her and continue this until you notice her own light moaning and is kissing you back. While this is a bit startling, it isn't enough to pull you away from her.

Eventually you hear her gasp and open your eyes just in time to see her snap awake in shock of your actions.

"What...why...huh?!"

You look at her with a slight grin on your face, partly from the satisfaction of her reaction and your own feeling of euphoria from having embraced her. "I can see why you like surprising people so much."

Kogasa looks down at the ground and turns a bright shade of red. "Well...yeah...it...it is, but...why'd you..."
