She's sadistic as fuck. "Hey lets test out your new axe on our pet human."
Plothole: If she picked up enough human nature to not be able to reproduce without love, she should have the decency to not do things like that.

She's a slut, literally guzzling cum from all sorts of creatures as well as her boyfriend nightly. without being married.

And she turned all of humanity into monsters.

This concludes why anyone who likes Saya should feel bad.

I think Saya No Uta is a very great VN.

The atmosphere of the game is 'dark and edgy' -- but its a damn horror VN. That's the point. It strikes terror into your heart in a way that would strike a chord in any sane human being. "What if everything changed? What if nothing is what it seems?"

The Characters are realistic and watching them go batshit would give anyone some animalist pleasure, and the art is wonderful (but Fuminori's gore world does look pretty bad. That CG with the hand and the organs when Kouji opens the fridge made me SICK, but the fakeness of everything adds to Fuminori's atmosphere in a way so it's chill.

I think it just gives everyone that animalistic, dark feeling and all the paranoia fuel you could ever need. It's an amazing VN.

Well, that is reasonable. In moderation. One does have to accept that other people's opinions will vary and that at the end of the day your "objective consensus" is ultimately a false construct. Because if you draw the line too hard and refuse to accept that some opinion doesn't carry as much weight as your own, you start to sound as ridiculous as a religious extremist. One has to be humble. Remember that everyone else who disagrees with you thinks that you are just as stupid as you think that they are.

Well, now that I've finished it, I guess I can comment on the subject.

I don't think it was suggested that she picked up human virtues, exactly. It was mentioned that she has been reading a lot of Romantic literature during the past days, which isn't exactly where you learn about chastity and fidelity. Romantic literature focuses on the ecstasy of love, simply put. More than any other era, it treats love as a pleasure. I don't think there would be any contradictions if that's what's attracted Saya, she didn't gain any morals which would have prevented her from her violent and sadistic tendencies, but she learned about a new human pleasure, which she started to desire much more than her instinctual desire.

Consider that many, many people would prefer passionate lovemaking over animalistic sex. Do you think this is because their morals? I doubt it.
