Not to brag or anything, but our squadron is one of two undefeated squadrons in the whole world for the full realism tournament (all realism settings turned on, locked in the cockpit, no icons, no map icons, etc). Even if we forfeit our last match, we'll still win our Division, which is the entire Americas, Pacific and East Asia division. The other undefeated Squadron is a Russian squadron, and we'll probably end up facing them in the championship. It. Will. Be. Epic.

Yeah, I'm not exactly sure why MN isn't that popular, I liked what I saw a lot. But then again, it probably has to do with the player base. More people will play the western front in Europe (DH) because that's what they know. They saw Saving Private Ryan, they read their American history textbook about D-Day.

Then you have the Eastern Front, the default game, which is more popular because that's the game everyone's been playing the whole time. So the MN will obviously come in last.

It's sad but that's the way it is I guess. It's still great though. I had a lot of fun on this one map where the Brit SAS guys are trying to sneak into this German camp at nighttime. Forgot what you were supposed to be doing there, I think it was sabotaging radio and command centers or something.

I remember when I was still pretty new to thegame, I played DH on this long road map as an American and was the only officer (the map required artillery to advance, like, at all) and I forgot the artillery calling command and everyone was yelling at me ;_;

My Favourite map is the one in ostfront that lets you do the urban tank battles, fuck yeah, I took down like 5 wolverines back-to-back as they came over a bridge.

Yeah, people are asses on DH when you take the commander class but don't know how to call in artillery. The problem with it is that DH brought in radio operators. So you have to work in pairs. The commander calls in the artillery by using the other guy's radio. This kinda makes it hard to lone wolf. You have to be on comms with the other guy so that you don't lose each other.

I know that map. I love that one, very popular map. Soviets capture the two bridges and then capture German headquarters. If they succeed they have to capture the market, where there is a wide open ground that makes attackers fodder for my machine gun. Unless they can sneak a sniper into a good position in a window somewhere. Then I have to move. What the hell was it called... Started with a D I think.

Yeah, I always camped the wine cellar in that map. People always run through the door there, and if you hide behind the barrels or the shelves of wine bottles, they won't see you until after you've started shooting. If you stay far enough back from the door to the side, they cant hit you with grenades either.

The first time I shot at a human target in the game, I was waiting in ambush for a tank behind a low wall, prone. I saw a German crawling up to the wall opposite side of the dirt road. He didn't know where I was, and I thought "holy shit, what if he sees me! I'll just shoot."

But the problem was. When I was about to shoot, the tank rolled right in front of me. And I didn't have time to line up a shot at the side of the tank because I had aimed low at the soldier. So the tank got by, and I fired at the soldier. And missed. No scope, and my aim with it sucked. Well, he practically jumped up and ran then dove again. Well he saw me and started to shoot, and I shot again, and it BLEW HIS LEG OFF. After that, I started using it as a sniper rifle. I just had to practice aiming a lot since it doesn't have a scope, but really, it's no harder than aiming a normal bolt action rifle. You just have one shot before you have to reload instead of five.

Nope, no differences at all. I always loved Grandia though, this is probably the 10th or so time I started a game since the PSX version.

It does scale rather well on large screens, doesn't have that 'stretched to fit' look.

Yeah, great times. I remember in my first game, I had only Fire and Water on Feena until that tower secret dungeon. I fed her all my MP seeds just for one casting of End of the World due to that. Also learned Thor Whip quite late into the game too.

Also, forgot to mention that I still play the Starcraft 2 beta occasionally, although it's ending soon.
