Do any of my fellow NEETs (and non-neets I guess, but non-neets don't have to worry as much about their physical and mental health since they at least get some activity) exercise? What kind of exercise, how much, and such? I've started doing some light exercises since it helps my head from feeling like it's turning to mush and hopefully keeps my muscles from atrophying from sitting around all day. There's only so much you can do in the house though and going outside is a pain.

>NEETS = hiki

An unemployed person can go to a gym and work out if they still pay their membership fee. Hikis can do plenty of stuff, but I'm guessing most choose not to.

I don't think I ever implied that.

Indeed they can, and I've actually considered doing so.

I've begun to go outside at night for walks and stuff, it's pretty nice when there's no people around.

Yeah, going to work EVERY FUCKING DOING THE SAME OLD SHIT isn't something you should worry about when it comes to physical and mental health.

Everyday I jump rope until I can't stand up steadily (which is usually 3-4 minutes), and use a homemade barbell built with water bottles.

I don't place particular importance on fitness, and I certainly wouldn't go near a gym if my life depended on it, but I heard working out helps fighting depression, and at least after sweating I feel like I have to shower. Helps me not smelling like ass that one or two times I have to go out for groceries and stuff.

The grind is wake up-go to work-get home-otaku pursuits. And to think NEETs here think that as long as you have a job, you have a 'social life'. I kid you not, you have none even if you have a job.

You have money for doing your stuff, though.

One of the best parts of being a NEET was going to the gym at ungodly hours with no one else there. I miss that; it was nice having the whole place to myself.

Anyways I still go at least 5 times per week. But now it's during normal waking hours instead of 2-3AM.

I (kinda) follow this routine:
http://www.muscleandstrength.com/workouts/frankoman-dumbbell-only-split.html

But instead of one day rest, I take more - 2,3 days usually; mostly because I don't feel like working out so often. I'm planning to start running at night too, but I just can't get myself to do it.

Rowing machine 2x a week (about 5 miles a pop)
